Hi all,
I am sick now for three years and am hardly able to work half days or enjoy my free days (usually lying in bed to recover).
I have chronic inflammation in my ileum, not yet diagnosed uterus problems and recently diagnosed UCTD wilt lot of SLE symptoms. I take plaquenil (200mg a day) for UCTD since three months.

Since some months my knees hurt quite a lot. The bones on the inside hurt when I lie in bed and sit for some while. Sleeping on my side is too painful. I can take the this kind of pain but sometimes the pain is like knives stabbing in my knee bones. That agony lasts some hours and disappears.
I noticed my knees are rotated inside. I had this before but not this much rotated.
The knees are not swollen.

Anyone relates to this problem? Is it SLE or UCTD?

I also had dry mouth for over 35 years and nobody knew what I had
I also had painful joints and vitamin D deficiency with a whole lot of other symptoms.  I had my lip biopsy and it was positive for Sjogrens.  It took over 30 years before for me to get an answer.  I was told it was all in my head.  Thank goodness I did not give up.  I found a wonderful Doctor at the University of Chicago.  Do not give up.  Keep looking even if you have to switch Doctors.  I went thru 70 Doctors in my lifetime.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Since you have a very dry mouth, Sjogren’s syndrome should be looked into. Vitamin B12 and vitamin D deficiency should be investigated for. Lyme’s, lupus, and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis are the other possibilities.
Since I cannot examine you and know other related conditions you may be having, nor is a detailed history possible on net, I have listed the various possibilities that should be looked into. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Take care!
