Hi I'm new and searching for any info, I am 27 and for the past 4 months I went from walking fine to hardly walking at all. I have a heavy feeling in my thighs and sevear pain in my hips to my toes. I also have pain from my shoulders to my fingers. I have alot of weakness in my arms and legs, I fall alot. My bladder leakage, triedness all the time I went to the doctor and had blood tests down My ANA is 1:640 the rest of my blood work was fine exept 3 times it said I was a little dehydrated. she said it could be lupus or ms or another autoimmune. Nov. 9 I go see another doctor. I was just wondering if anyone has the same things going on and know what it is. Thanks I am scared and just want some advice.

I know several of us here at MedHelp know what you are going through.

I agree with your dr. that something autoimmune could be going on here.  Realize that these diseases are very complex and sometimes are progressive.  Drs. don't jump in too quickly with a diagnosis.  The only advice I would have for you is to spend some time in the sun prior to your visit on the 9th.  Maybe an hour or two before your visit, spend at least 30 min. in the sun.  I see you are from Indiana.  It is probably already really cold there.  I'm not sure if a tanning salon would have the same affect.  I know they advise lupus patients to stay away from these salons.  What happens is, if you have lupus the sun exposure will cause an immune response and cause your ANA to really jump up.  This will help expediate a dx as well as some treatment.

I pray that you do not have lupus, but if you do there are many folks here that can help you walk through this.  They were sure here for me when I had twenty questions.

Praying for you,
God bless, Kara
