I was recently diagnosed with CVID due to very low levels of IgG, IgG1, IgG3 and IgA. I am not currently on any treatment for this. My question is, how much, if at all, do these level fluctuate naturally?
I'll be starting the IVIG therapy soon and will do all that I'm told/suggested to do, thanks! I am very glad to hear he's doing well now :)
I'm curious, though, about natural fluctuations of immunoglobulins. I looked online but was unable to find any useful to help answer this question. On a day-to-day or week-to-week basis, how much of a +/- change can typically be expected without the assistance of medication or other artificial assistance?
I know someone with CVID. He gets his intravenous treatments (IVIG) and takes low-dose naltrexone, which has been a huge improvement over prednisone.
He got very sick and had to have a lot of surgery, so follow the treatment. I think he had to have the surgery because it took a while to get diagnosed, but I'm not sure about that. He is doing well now.
