Lupus

I have Lupus and I am so up and down.  How do other people control this.  I take so much medication and now I am on an experimental drug program.  : > )

Hi nana..I have Lupus also, I understand the medication thing"s. The first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do before bed is take a handful of pills..yuck!!! Lupus is such the pitts when it comes to our emotions, sometimes I swear I am manic. The first thing my docs did when told I have Lupus was to put me on antidepresstion pills, you have to play around with them till they find the right one for you. The other thing I have is a great husband who I can yell at and on some days cry to and he just lets me. Lupus is so weird one can have stuff happen to them while others don't have nothing happen to them, personally that's not fare (smiles and laughs)
I have a few questions also if you don't mind? # 1:With your lupus is your blood thick too,has your lupus effected your organs? #2: What symptoms do you have? #3: Have you've gotten tested for Anticardiolipid Antibodies (%5 of people with lupus also have this antibody..I do) ?
It is great that you are willing to let the docs use experiment meds on you. If it wasn't for people like you it would be like it was 30 years ago and people with Lupus was like a death sentence. Now people can have long lives like anyone else.Thank you very much to help save other peoples lives along with mine.
