!!MYSTERY AUTOIMMUNE!! Anyone Relate??

My symptoms began last June, started strictly with chest pain and night sweats than developed bone & joint pain, tongue ulcers, upset stomach, horrible headaches behind my eyes & temples, blurred vision, etc.

I went to the ER 06/2013 my blood work was abnormal.
Low wbc, platelets, lymph, etc. Elevated monocytes, & liver enzymes.
My CRP marker came back three times what it was supposed to be, the doctor I was seeing put me on 40mg of prednisone for 5 days which cleared that up, but unfortunately masked a lot of other tests which has lead me to being undiagnosed.

My chest pain currently has came back with a vengeance. The chest pain is mild with random shooting pains typically in the center and upper left and right sides, I have jaw pain near the hinges, my teeth get shooting random pains, and I have horrible upper left arm pain which also happens in the right but not as often. Recently I've had my hs-CRP tested which was 3 supposedly being considered "moderate risk for heart disease." I've also had a lp(a) which was HIGH RISK and a lp-pla2 which came back HIGH RISK at 310. These tests themselves worry me. I've worn a holter monitor which showed benign PVC's, stress test which was negative, echo which showed mild regurgitation in three valves, and lastly a CT ANGIO which showed no stenosis in any artery just a normal small caliber vessel noted.

I've been to the ER numerous times which all result in a negative troponin and only ONCE has my EKG came back showing an inverted T wave. I also get upper back pain quite often and a scratching feeling in my throat and feels like odd when I swallow. I've seen three cardiologists desperate for an answer an NO ONE can give me an explanation to my symptoms. One doctor told me it was possible I have Microvascular disease but the other said it was very rare. IF ANYONE CAN RELATE FEEL FREE TO RESPOND!!!!

Pathogenic Mycoplasma is highly suspect, as the T wave inversion( blood in your left ventricle is not being pumped up through the aorta and around through the body) and PVCs
-benign or not matters not- are very characteristic -but not 100% exclusive- of such an infection.
If you were to do a blood volume test or red cell mass study, you will probably find you're likely below range.
The normal range is 25 to 35 ml of red cell volume per kg of body weight.
I'd say that if you're 20% below the minimum normal range, this would constitute a near crisis condition, when your body is functioning with so much less blood than what it needs to function efficiently.
No different than an accident where one loses a lot of blood!

If I were you, I would get in touch with Dr. Garth Nicolson, the world's top expert in this field. There are not too many doctors trained in this field and
standard testing will not detect pathogenic mycoplamsmas and their co-infections.
He also happens to be a part-time medhelp contributing expert and is also the president and founder of the Institute Molecular Medicine in California,
if you wish to do a search.

Hope this helps, however my comments and suggestions are not intended to replace medical advice.

Happy New Year!
Niko

Hi there! I'm so sorry to hear about your health issues. Have you been tested for Lyme disease? I know from personal experience, many times Lyme disease will mimic the same symptoms of autoimmune diseases. I had all kinds of aweful symptoms and the doctors couldn't figure out what it was and it ended up being untreated and undiagnosed Lyme disease.

I would definitely look into that as a possibility! Anymore questions feel free to ask!
