I have increased my magnesium and everything is going great so far, Thank you :)
Thanks to all that answered, I am starting to feel better and I am taking long walks to release my stress! who knew walking could hold so much benefits :)
I'm psychic lol! I haven't tried coconut oil although i know it's the heathiest oil in the world. My macadamia oil so delicious i'm not sure if anything can top the flavour!
Thank you Red_Star,
You addressed exactly what was going to be my second part of my post!
The only additional remarks that I have is that when supplementing,
delivery, quality and type of supplement is of utmost importance.
Magnesium is best and safest delivered as Transdermal magnesium Chloride (magnesium oil)
Just look it up or pm me for details.
Vitamin C works best with bioflavonoids.
Glutathione (GSH) is considered the master anti-oxidant. Undenatured whey powder Isolate mixed in juice or smoothies 10-20 grams 2x daily (no heat, no blender,as its chemical structure is very delicate!) is a great way to supplement.
Once the GSH levels increase, this will keep the JNK gene from becoming active. The JNK gene is a marker of health and longevity and while active it promotes serious, chronic and degenerative diseases.
Your need for other anti-oxidants also will be much lower, as glutathione
recycles them, thus reducing the need for the constant removal of waste byproducts from the anti-oxidating processes.
Personally I use extra virgin coconut oil for all my cooking and for "oil pulling" daily as it is one of the top "functional foods". The health benefits are numerous. Look it up at the coconut research center website for details. It will help you experience remarkable improvement.
Hope this helps
Niko
A good article on stress is "The Stress Cycle" from Nova Magazine website. I cherry picked a few pieces...
"Current research suggests that stress may play a significant role in increasing the body’s requirement for a range of nutrients, such as vitamins A, C, E and B complex, as well as the minerals magnesium, potassium, zinc and calcium, and amino acids."
"In summary, if you are stressed you need to supplement and the more stressed you are, the more you need to supplement."
As for you specific symptoms, muscle aches and pains can point to not enough magnesium. And anxiety is a high suspect for low magnesium. Magnesium is called the relaxation/anti anxiety mineral. Low magnesium also affects the bladder. A double blind trial found that women with bladder control problems who took magnesium supplements had better bladder control and felt less of a sense of urgency about using the bathroom than women who took a placebo (sugar pill).
Welcome to the forum.
Anxiety and stress are enough to bring upon many such symptoms.
The immune system prioritizes, so its response targets the effects of
the stress, rendering most other systems and parts of the body
very vulnerable (low immunity).
It is very difficult for physicians to diagnose this, as the tests do not reveal
anything clinical significant that links your condition to any known medical and specific disease.
So, you can start by walking, as walking is one of the best ways to lose some weight and to distress! Toronto is a wonderful city for talking walks.
(I park my car underground while in Toronto and walk everywhere downtown everyday)
Meditation will help you a lot. as it will bring you to a very peaceful and calm state. Done frequently over time will bring lasting results.
Just do a YouTube search, or buy a CD.
I'll post more later, as I have to run now, meanwhile you may comment or ask questions.
Take care.
