Nausea, Dizziness, shortness of breath, pain in muscles, cold hands and feet

Hello Everyone, I am new to the site I decided to join because it is very informative....

My question is, off and on I will get dizzy and have cold hands and feet and feel like I am forgetting things and very weak. I also have pain in my abdominal area when I am about to have my menstrual period or sometimes not.  I have constant migranes from an injury in the past and I have a back injury and degeneration in my shoulders from an injury as well. I am also have amenia. A few months ago, I was rushed to the ER, because I was so dizzy either standing up or sitting down, I didnt know what to do. They ran every test, and could not find anything wrong. When I was younger I also had Mitral Valve Prolapse, and I used to take medication for it, but now I am ok. I feel sleepy all the time as well. Sorry to ramble... I am just really afraid of what is going on and I dont have an answer for it. It is very scary. My family has a history of hormone problems, my mother had to get an ovary removed and my cousin has Graves disease. I have also noticed lately that my hair is falling in the front, but that could just be stress. Even right now I am so tired, but I just figured I would type the rest of this. I have also had a miscarriage in the past and I am just really curious of what is going on. I am 28 years old and I really dont know what is going on. Anyone have any clues?

I have many of the same syptoms as you.  I have dysautonomia as a result of small fiber neuropathy.  Have you had a tilt table test for your dizziness?  Here's some info on neuropathy that might help you:

It can be caused by autoimmune diseases, so you might want to pursue that avenue as well.

Thank you for responding to my post. I do apologize for the late response. The test that I have done in reference to that are none of those that you list.  The list of symptoms that I have are migraines, joint pain, left and right shoulders, neck pain, pelvic pain, tingling in my hands, sharp pains shooting from my neck to the top of my had, stiffness in my neck, abdominal pains.

I went to physical therapy today. I have had cat scans both types, x rays, next up is my MRI in November. Today while I was at physical therapy, the physical therapist concluded that I have fabromyalgia. I dont believe that, because I have been to the physical therapist before and they gave me a tens unit, and some ointment for my pains. I used to get injections, but I stopped because I did not want to be dependent on that. Lately, my pains have increased. I also went to the urgent care, because while I was at work, sitting in my chair this sharp like pain shot from my left side of my back all the way down to my foot. I could barely walk. The doctor put me out for a few days and gave me some medication. The sad part in all this is that I am a Veteran and getting care is like going in a circle.

Welcome, have you had your thyroid tested?  It could be you are hypo or hyperthyroid. You would need to have your TSH, FT4, FT3 and antibodies tested.

Never stop searching!

Welcome to MedHelp Autoimmune Forum

There are many people here who can help you.

We probably need more information though.

Please list specific symptoms e.g. joint pain, muscle pain, migraines, fatigue, weight loss or gain, etc.

Then list any labs that have been done e.g. Sed rate, WBC, ANA, RA etc.

Sometime when people say they have "ran every test", that's a broad statement that may or may not be true.

Also list your blood pressure reading along with any blood sugar readings if they have done that.

Thanks for putting your trust in us.
God bless, Kara
