Need foot pain relief fast

am being worked up for an autoimmune with no definitive diagnosis yet (1/24/10). Have positive ANA, multiple minor aches and pains, Raynauds, etc. but my concern now is first-time stabbing, burning foot pain on both sides that is excruciating/disabling and have to try to go to work 2morrow.  Neurotin prescribed by RN covering for docs.  Is this gonna help or do I need a supplemental narcotic to get thru day before I can reach rheumatologist? HELP! am in agony

I don't have any side effects at all from the cellebrex.  I have been taking it for three years now and I take it in the morning after I eat a little something (I'm not a big morning eater) and I take it at night before bed, sometimes without food now that I think about it but it's probably best taken with food.

Take care and let me know how you are.  When do you go to the doctor?

joyfein1 if you are in that much pain you should see a doctor immediately.  i can't tell you what to do other than soak your feet in salt water as warm a water as you can stand and take your meds.  i have lupus and i have terrible foot and ankle pain but mine is mostly in my ankles.  if i stay off of them it is not so bad.  that is just one of many many pains i have though and the rest like my hips and legs are mush worse.  i take cellebrex and i have come to find out i can't do without it.  i tried and the pain was so bad i was on pain medications that knocked me out.  maybe ask for some cellebrex but see a doctor right away if you can miss work.
please let me know how you are.
God Bless
Joni
