No Psoriasis but cannot heal?

I have serious paque psoriasis for over 10 years, during the last two years my skin has 100% cleared up due to an injectable named, "Raptiva". I get my platelets checked every three months along with my sugar levels as a type II diabetic.Last check, platelets were "A bit low but ok". My problem is that I have a gardenella vaginal infection and none of the antibiotics are working for me. I have been taking sulfa drugs and cipro for three wweeks ans it still burns whe I urinate. What is going on?  Belle58

It sounds like you may need another antibiotic or your immune system is so compromised right now, that it is taking longer than usual to fight this infection. I would consider contacting your physician. I would also consider drinking lots of water and doing things right now to help boost your immune system. You may want to ask your physician about taking Goldenseal.
