I think I would get a second oppinion from a neurologist. The normal nerve conduction tests would rule carpal tunnel syndrome.
A rheumotlogist would be a good start. Have you had a full workup? (ie: ANA and other antibodies?) Anti-RNP are detectable in SLE patients, Mixed connective tissue disorder and Raynaud phenomenon.
