My dentist noticed hyperpigmentation of my buccal mucosa and refered me to my MD.  I have also had symptoms of marked fatigue (increasing for years).  I had an adrenal stimulation test last week and am waiting for the results.  Over the past 3 weeks the pigmentation has spread to involve more areas of buccal mucosa.  If the stimulation test is negative, what else (besides adrenal insufficiency) might be causing this?
