Positive ANA = Scared

Hello Everyone,
I am just try to make sense of all of the blood work I have recently gotten done.  My doctor and I decided it was time to do an ANA tests along with some other standard counts.  My mother had Lupus and MS so this has been a long time coming.  I have had some symptoms on and off for awhile now.  My results are as follows:

CBC counts - all within normal range
Uric Acid - HIGH 6.4 (2.4-5.7 scale)
Vitamin D - LOW 6 (30-100 scale)
ANA - POSITIVE AB
ANA Titer - 1:160 (scale <1:40 negative)
ANA Pattern - Homogeneous
Sed Rate - HIGH 26 (0-20 scale)

I know I have a greater chance of testing positive since I have a first degree relative that had this disease and right now I don't feel too bad except from being tired all the time.  I also have HSV-2 (herpes) but I am not believing this would have any effect on the ANA test. Hoping someone out there can give me some advice as to what these results mean and if I am looking at SLE and what the next step will need to be as well.  Thank you!

Viral infection can  activate auto-reactive T cells, causing autoimmune reaction.

Viral agents may upregulate and "trap" certain proteins
-like metallothyionein-  which are meant for detoxification purposes, in order to weaken the immune system, thus greating a safer "terrain" for them in the host body

Any viral load in our body is to some degree a contributor to disease processes, which is challenging to identify, using conventional medical models.
There are many variable factors in disease development, including gene defects, environmental toxins, heavy metals, infectious agents working in synergy and oftentimes isolating and addressing only one factor rarely
results in sustainable improvement.

Cheers.

Unfortunately many rheumies won't look at ANA titres up to 1:160
Your high sed rate is indicative of inflammation, but in relation to your high
uric acid levels, do you have any symptoms of gout?
Are you cold or perhaps dehydrated?
What meds to you take?
Any genetic testing? Why not? If yes, pls provide details.

HSV2 could have a lot to do INDIRECTLY under certain conditions!

I'll explain another time as I'm pressed for time now.

I hope this helps, however, my comments are not intended to replace medical advice.

Best wishes.
Niko
