Re: internal tremors

Is there a test that will detect or measure "internal tremors" that are not visible to the eye or touch?

Hi MontyFausta and welcome to the forum.

This constitutes a medical challenge!
Perception vs actual movement. Hmm.
If it's subclinical, then an EMG may indicate this, but not necessarily so!
In clinical manifestation, it's actual movement that is observable, detectable and measurable.
I have counselled people with phantom pain on missing limbs who are experiencing real pain on a body part that does not exist!

There are so many mysteries in health matters that we still cannot offer clear explanations. And new health challenges are being presented daily
in unprecedented numbers!

Without wanting to alarm you, it might be a good idea to get early Parkison's Disease symptoms ruled out.

If you want to provide more details, I may be able to offer a more educated opinion, as I'm going by very little information here.

Red Star makes a very good point with her suggestion and fairly easy to
have it ruled out.
Tissue and serum magnesium levels should be checked!

This is not intended as a substitute for medical advice

Best wishes!

I'm not too sure to be honest. I've had internal tremors due to magnesium deficiency and hypothyroidism.
