If you have been dx as positive for Lyme Disease, then you require treatment.  However, you should also ask about co-infections, because this may change your treatment strategy.  Please read the review on Lyme disease posted on our website, www.immed.org  under Treatment Considerations, Report #2.  This will give you some insight into how Lyme treatment is approached by the ILADS experts.
