Right Face Numbness / Unbalanced / Disoriented

Hi forum,

I've been in a tough situation these past 9 months and no doctor or hospital can figure this out.

I have a numbness sensation that travels to my right side face and cheek area about 1-2 hours after I eat or I get really hungry. Also it feels like sudden pressure on veins from neck to head but with no headache.   Accompanied by this my vision also gets disoriented and I can't focus 100% and I feel like I'm not in 100% control of my own body when walking or moving. I lose my balance, I feel weak , shortness of breath, and at times get anxiety.

Now I also get the following symptoms that change every so often to different parts of my body when this happens. Pain on calves of both legs, pain on upper back, tingling on hands and fingers and sometimes stiffness of neck and arms. It always changes with these symptoms mentioned.

I've been tested for Thyroid, Glucose, blood pressure,  Rumathoid Arthritis,  Lupus,  Heart Echo, Head MRI,  chest X-ray, stomach ultrasound,   urine test, All types of blood tests and to date everything seems to be normal. The only thing they did find was a positive ANA test but they can't figure it out?? Geez sometimes I just wish they would tell me something so I can get it over with and start working on fixing this issue.

I have even stayed away from Gluten, Wheat, Rye, eggs, and Soy thinking it's a food allergy and still nothing. I still make sure I keep my nutritional vitamins and take supplements to make these up so not the issue here.

Has anyone here had similar problems or could help me out someway? I have lost so much income from missing work and I would hate to have the conversation with my employer and they tell me it's best to leave the company. I have a family and am the only source of income  Someone please???

Hi Manuel,

I´m sorry for what you are going through. I have had lots of nerve related symptoms for 5 years now, so I´m an example for a neurological limbo. Last few months I have been with a neuro who looks into everything and then I have learned a lot about Sjögren, I have low positive ANA and I think you should have someone to look into that. The sicca symptoms are often so mild when people start with the neurological problems and it does often not show in the blood test at first. I hope you will get answers soon.

Best regards,
Dagun
