Sjogren's Syndrome disease progression

My family physician discovered that I have Sjogren's Syndrome with fibromyalgia 7 months ago. Since that time I have been diagnised with chronic pancreatitis, gastroparesis and sarcoidosis. Is there a possibility that these diseases are related? She has attempted to treat the pancreatitis and the digestive issues but have yet to be treated in any way for the Sjogren's or the sarcoidosis. Is this proper protocol?

Thank you for responding to my question. Right now I guess my doctors must be doing all that they can do, as you said, treat the symptoms.

Hi!
Yes, you can have both Sjogren’s syndrome and sarcoidosis as both these diseases are autoimmune and affect the salivary glands. The gut issues and pancreatitis could also be due to  poor salivary gland function.
In patients where there is affection of the different organs like gut, pancreas, lungs etc, which do not respond to symptomatic relief therapy, drugs like corticosteroids, immunosuppresants, methotrexate and other disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) can be used. Otherwise there is no treatment for it except symptomatic relief.
Take care!
