Spots on eye

I suffer from Sjogren's syndrome, Sarcoidosis, chronic pancreatitis and gastroparesis. My rheumatologist prescribed Plaquenil for treatment of joint pain and I am aware that this medication can affect the eyes. I recently noticed gray spots on my eye near my iris. Just wondering if this is cause for concern.

Hi!
Grey spots around the iris generally develop due to blood stagnation. However, since you recently started Plaquenil (also known to cause grey spots on cornea), please ask your doctor to review it too. Take care!

Hello there! Thank you very much for responding to my question. I appreciate your advice. I am worried about the side effects of Plaquenil and have been on it now for 4 months actually so I will be making an appt. to see my eye dr. Thanks again,
Trixie
