Too many symptoms for one type of practitioner?

I could start with the diagnosis that I do have'

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
Meniere’s disease
Depression/Anxiety
IBS
Diverticulosis/Diverticulitis

About six months ago, I started having blurry vision after work which has progressed to hazy vision, blurry vision, double, triple, and at worst quadruple vision after I have been reading (which is a must for my profession) I have difficulty with Insomnia, fatigue, muscle fatigue and exhaustion, joint pain extreme at times, hot flashes, ultra sensitive to heat and cold, swallowing difficulty, lower leg and feet numbness when sitting, I have nausea and general malaise often, and headaches. I have had my eye glasses prescription thouroughally checked changed and changed again with no improvement. Doctor sent me to Neuro opthomology where I was put through numerous tests which have thus far given us no answers. Each doctor has his/her own specialty which makes it pretty difficult to discuss the other symptoms. I have a specialist for all of the initially stated diagnosis but I feel like we are missing something especially with the triple vision. Does anyone have any advice?

I found a fairly extensive symptoms list on Chiari One but this is not a complete list.

"The list below attempts to put symptoms in the order of importance but, it is difficult to say with certainty which symptoms are more common than others. There have been no formal or controlled studies of the percentages of patients that suffer from each symptom. In addition, symptoms may differ from patient to patient depending on where pressure is exerted (i.e. whether tonsillar descent is causing pressure on the brainstem or not, whether syrinx exists, etc).

In general, people without herniation may not suffer symptoms associated with brainstem compression but, rather, with lack of CSF flow and raised ICP. These symptoms tend to mirror those of PTC and include some of the ones listed below.

Headache (esp. if daily or at lower back of head)
Painful tension in neck
Fatigue
Migraines
Dizziness

"Patients who exhibit extreme joint hypermobility and connective tissue weakness as a result of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome or Marfan Syndrome are susceptible to instabilities of the craniocervical junction and thus acquiring a Chiari Malformation."

Arnold Chiari Malformation is where the cerebellum (the lower, back part of the brain) and brain stem protrude, or herniate, through the foramen magnum and into the spinal cord.  You may also have other conditions linked to Arnold Chiari Malformation such as hydrocephalus, syringomyelia, spinal curvature, tethered spinal cord syndrome.

There are over 100 symptoms of Arnold Chiari Malformation and your symptoms are mentioned including the conditions you have been already diagnosed with; Arnold Chiari Malformation mimics Meniere's disease and lists IBS as a symptom.  A neurologist should be consulted.

The symptoms of Chiari malformation include:

Headache -- This is the most common symptom of Chiari malformation. The headache is often pressure like and usually begins in the back of the head often radiates behind the eyes. Coughing, laughing, bending forward, sneezing or looking up can worsen the headache. Headache may be confused with migraine.

Neck Pain -- often pressure like and radiating down the spine and across the shoulders.

Dizziness/vertigo -- often worsened by extension of the neck

Vague pains throughout the body

Impaired balance

Clumsiness

Chronic nausea

Foggy thinking, poor memory and concentration

Frequent or urgent urination

Irritable bowel syndrome

Auditory Symptoms -- ringing in the ears, decrease in the ability to hear or sensitivity to sounds

Difficulty swallowing

Changes in the voice -- This can include hoarseness or the inability to regulate the voice when shouting or singing.

Visual Symptoms -- including double vision, sensitivity to light, blind spots.

Hey triplevision606.
Welcome ti the forum.
I wish it could be under better circumstances, however I will do my best ,
to help.
A more holistic approach is necessary.
You are suffering from conditions that suggest systemic autoimmune and
neuro-degenerative diseases. Your history is consistent with pathogenic underlying or initiating infectious conditions.
Do not attempt to isolate each set of symptoms, as this is the limitation or bias, if I may say ,of the specialists. Inter-systemic connections have to be established in order to piece this together.
The lack of clear answers also makes the case stronger for pathogenic infections as there are various possible "undetectable" pathogens, hiding from the immune system and your doctors.
My suspicion is pathogenic mycoplasma infection.
Please read related posts here and the fibro community regarding Mycoplasma infections (which include lyme and borrelia as they are co-infections in most cases)
You can also visit immed.org for more details.
The majority of doctors are not familiar with this and testing is very specific. Tests are only performed by just a handful of labs in the country.
An internist usually is the doctor to see, when the symptoms and conditions are affecting different systems of the body.
The only condition is that he must have training in this field.
Best, try to get in touch with Dr. Garth Nicolson, the expert in this field.
You can access this info from the  previous link .
Of course there are other possibilities, however, this one conforms the most with what you posted.
Let me know if you need more details.
My advice does not constitute professional consultation.
Take care.
Blessings,
Nikodicreta
