What is considered a high reading on SS-A and SS-B anitbody tests?

My blood test result for Sjogren's says:

SS-A     6.1    normal range (0.0 - 0.9)
SS-B    <0.2   normal range (0.0 - 0.9)

Is this just elevated or really high? I have an appt with a rheumatologist next Monday.

My doctor says this about the test results:
"The numbers do not mean much. If it is positive, then it suggests Sjogren's syndrome. There is no scale for these tests. You cannot compare it to previous numbers since the tests have changed. You will likely be positive indefinitely."
My first positive test result for Sjogren's was about three years ago. I had other complaints of joint problems that were being investigated then. No Sjogren's symptoms at that time. Recently, I have developed troublesome dry mouth. That is what prompted my most recent tests. Thought I might have diabetes, which I don't, luckily. I have found that drinking excessive amounts of water was making my symptoms worse by rinsing away what little saliva I was producing. I use a straw now, and the Biotene products help a lot.

your SSA seems very high. if the normal rang is 0.9 and yours was 6.1 that is a big difference. I tested positive for SSB but they did not include a titer on my results, i went to a new rheumatologist today and she is re-testing so we can see how high my SSB is,  was negative for SSA. seems you are my opposite! what are you symptoms?
