dizzyness, and passing out

I have a teenage daughter that has been having trouble since the first week of August 2011 with getting dizzy and passing out. We have had 5 emergency room visits, where they have tested, each time, for pregnacy, diabetes, infections, ekg's, every time we have left after hours of tests with no answers. We have had her to our family doctor, who has had her get an echocardiogram, and wore a heart monitor for 72 hours, still nothing found. We have been scheduled to go get test done that test the bodies electical whatever, not sure what it's called. We are scared for her, and frustrated that we can't find out what is wrong. Last night around bed time, my wife and I heard a loud bump, and just thought it was our daughter cleaning her room, but a couple minutes later I found her passed out on the livingroom floor, the sound we heard was her hitting the floor....

Hello, did you notice any changes in her bowel habits? When does she feel better after undergoing such symptoms?

I'm just now reading your page and was wondering if you discovered what was causing the passing out episodes? Is it postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome? (POTS)

have you considered a Holter 24 hour ECG test?  It measures the T waves and in a situation like this, she might show a problem.  Does her heart skip beats occasionally?  It might be left ventricle related such as Mitral valve prolapse, or tacchicardia.

Also have her do a blood volume test where they put a dye into her blood, draw it out 1 hr later and look for her blood volume.  It might be 10-50% lower than her body needs.  That is just my opinion, I am not a Dr but I have helped many find the root cause.  Message me if you need further help.  Hope this helps.

I wished I had some answers.  How disturbing this must be.  Your daughter and your family are in my prayers.
