help

hello, here is my story, maybe someone can help, almost 9 years ago, when I got pregnant with my first son, I developed hyperthyroid, graves disease. they put me on methomazole, for a while i was also on ptu for a little and now back on methomazole. they have never really been able to get my levels correct and now, i have a new doctor and she is pressing that I should get radioactive iodine. is it really worth it, I am pulled between maybe very bad POSSIBLE side effects from the meds, or possibly getting hypothyroid from the radioactive iodine. what do I do? please help i am open to listen to any suggestions.

Thyroid disease is an autoimmune disorder. You need an immunological work-up with Ig levels. Have you had that? You also might ask about a tensilon test for MG. How is your vision? Also...have testing for Celiac Disease.
