See if you can see anything  on your neck in your MRIs.  I have had many symptoms similar to yours over the years, and I have a lump at the top of my neck/base of my skull that is diminishing.  It is visible on an MRI I got a couple years ago.  Visible to me, but something the Drs apparently weren't looking at.  However, it was a pretty large area that shows white like some MRIs of tumors and brain lesions that I have seen. The lump is about where I remember my mother pulling ticks off me when I was less than five yrs old.  Something infecting a person in the neck is going to have profound effects on everything below it, and there have been times in my life that I have felt very much disconnected from my body.

How bad was your son hurt and how's he doing now?
How did that affect you as a mother? It must have been devastating.

I have been personally involved in 2 horrific nearly fatal accidents,
one someone ran a red light and T-boned me, the other one, a car coming down a winding narrow road at a mountainous region too fast and totally cut me off (I was on a motorbike and had 2 choices : jump or go down the cliff)

Glad to be alive and talk about it, but it takes a long time to heal, specially from the emotional trauma.

Sounds that you always had some underlying neurological (primary) skeletomuscular (secondary) issue, that was never diagnosed.

Do you know your B12 and D3 levels? Did you get tested recently for these?

Anyway, let me know, if you're up to it.

Cheers!

Niko

I had severe memory lapses soon after in 92.. some things here and there since.... mostly things like getting words wrong, forgetting things, numbness and tingling in hands and feet, numbness in face....the accident was a head on collision, luckily I was not injured too severly, my son was, but they did not compare the MRIs, however from what I have from the first, it looks a little more spotty than the one in 92.... but i have times when I know I want to move, but body just wont move.
nothing prior to 93, off hand that I can think of , some surgeries, birth of a child....
child hood okay, found out in 01 that I was adopted
they did all kinds of blood work, and tests in 92... this last nuero just the mri... however I have had things such as abdominal pain, leading to a laporoscopy, finding nothing..... my legs used to give out, leading to knee surgery when I was 17, didnt fix anything, so they went back in and took scrw out, everything was a trial and error, but no answers.... diet is pretty good and balanced, take care of myself...Have 5 children, boys, age 10, 12, 13, 18, 24.....
have been checked for anemia with prenancies and accident....
was on clazepan (spelling) for a while for dizziness....
some days I have to stay in bed....Sorry it kinda jumps around.. thank you for your time... Kim

Hi kimber1300 and welcome to the forum.

I'm so sorry to read about your suffering.
MS is one of those conditions-as far as diagnosis goes- where doctors won't commit to anything in writing unless they're absolutely certain and still...

Following are some questions for you and please consider  answering them in as much detail as you are able to, at your convenience.

Is there a substantial increase in your symptoms, from '92 till your accident and again from the accident till now?

How bad was the accident?

Have you had other accidents, traumatic events or illnesses prior to '92?

How was your childhood and family situation?

Have you had perhaps a comprehensive check-up including blood work
and other tests, besides the initial MRI? How about in more recent times?

What meds and supplements do you take and also what is your typical diet like?

How about activities? Are you able to take short walks, do exercises in a pool, swim, light stretches?

It's tough having no insurance, however, there might be some things you can do on your own.

Looking forward to your reply.

Blessings.
