low wbc high mono's
Hello,
I have been having issues with low wbc counts latest one is 1.8.
also having high monocyte counts
neutrophyls are 48.9
lymphs 33.3
mcv 99.1
mch 35.5
having lots of fatigue and flu like symptoms as well.... i was diagnosed with sero negative ra 2 years ago..
anyone have any ideas what these results show?

Increased monocytes can be due to infections (infectious mononucleosis), TB, viruses, parasites, inflammation, cancer, Hodgkin's disease and leukemia. A low WBC is seen in people who have overwhelming infections, sepsis, viral infections, HIV, immunosuppression, anemias or bone marrow suppression.

I would follow-up with your physician.
