my 13 years old son is sick

My son is in the sick kids hospital since past sunday, he was rushed in with joints pain, bleeding, lower legs vasels bleeding and his platelets were zero, he had platelets tranfusion and IVIG ( didn't work) they gave him 3 doses of steroids, after the first one the platelets went up to 16 but after a while went down, right now they are at 5, they took bone marrow and everything seems ok in it, they don;t really know what is causing his inmune system destroying his platelets. Doctors think it is lupus but they are not sure, can somebody please tell me if you ever suffer from something similar?

Yes, Lupus can cause this kind of issue.  I have Lupus but have not had this situation.  I hope and pray they can get things turned around for him.  Thank goodness you are close to such a good hospital.  I'm in Ontario too.

Look at what had occured in your sons enviroment just before he got sick.  Did he get any vaccinations, flu shot, mercury filllings in his teeth, change in his diet.  I would try to get him on a fruit and vegatable base diet which will give him the vitamins and minerals that the body needs to heal itself.  If the doctors determine it is a specific disease there are natural substances which you can take to heal the body.  Get the book Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Phyllis A. Balch, CNC.  Good Luck.
