please help 35yrs o

hi all please help if any one has simillar symptoms!!!   i was diagnosed 2 yrs ago with raynards disease and also secondary connective tissue disease. firstly my raynards disease is getting worse i only ever used to get white fingers now my right hand finger tips go blue and the white or no blood flow is moving up my arms when im really cold takes aprox 15 min to get the color back! blotchy skin on arms and legs also! i have not been diagnosed with an exact connective tissue that i have as so far i have had mild symptoms! until approx 6 mths ago we moved house ,very stressful with two small children i went out dancing one night and the next day i awoke to no voice which was larangitis but could not get rid of the ringing in my ears. i also started feeling really terrible nausea and dizziness! this was firstly diagnosed as an inner ear inf with a 6-8 week duration!  no meds!  then since this time frame has gone by i seem to relapse on and off!  if i over exert myself i have this strange feeling that comes over me which i can only describe as a wave that comes over me which can happen any time any day!   the heat in my body goes up then it feels like my blood hits my feet i start to feel nauseated and feel like i want to vomit.when this happens i have to keep my body moving it feels terible if i sit still ! i also dont cope driving for long periods as the movement increses my nausea!  i missed seeing my little boys first school concert last night as an attack which i like to call them happened while i was sitting waiting for him to come on stage !!  so debilitating !!!!  makes me sad for my kids not having a happy and healthy mummy!  Is this all connected to my reynards and connective tissue disease? minears?

I am a 35 year old mother of three.   I got Diagnosed five years ago (give or take), with Hepatitis C, and "possible/undefined" auto immune disorders", I have been showing symptoms my since junior high.  It took many years of monthly blood work for it all to come back positive.
Don't get discouraged about your children and having a sick mommy.  I have three daughters,(17, 16, and 12) who throughout all of this have grown and become amazing young women, strong, and because of me being ill, have a wonderful perspective on how precious time, energy, attitude, and life is.
Don't get me wrong, it ***** ( to say the very least) to be sick and have to miss out on some things, ( and I have missed many "important" sports games, recitals, etc.) I had to  learn to make the most of the good moments, even if it is just a regular afternoon and it only lasts an hour, before another wave of pain, nausea, dizziness, yuck, hits you from out of nowhere and puts me back in bed.
Good Luck with everything, stay positive, and don't give up/ in to the confusion of it all.

Hi there and welcome to MedHelp Autoimmune Forum

Not sure I will be able to help you, but I didn't want your post to go unanswered.

I do have some additional questions.  How were you dx w/ a connective tissue disorder?  Was it w/ a positive ANA?  If so, what was your level and pattern?

I have lupus and I have what I call hot flashes.  It kinda sounds like what you describ.  They have checked my hormone levels and they are good.  But my dr. told me that lupus can affect every area of your body including the vascular system.  Thus creating the flushing feeling.  Raynauds is also  possible sx of lupus.

Here are the sx of lupus:

There are 11 criteria for a lupus dx.  You must have at least 4 of the 11 to recieve a dx.

They are:
1. malar rash over cheeks (butterfly rash)
2. discoid rash, red raised patches
3. photosensitivity - reaction to sunlight, resulting in skin rash
4. oral and nose ulcers
5. arthritis
6. serositis - inflamation of the lining of the lung or heart
7. reanl disorder - excessive protein in urine and/or cellular casts
8. neurologic disorder - seizures, or psychosis
9. anemia or low white blood countor lymphopenia or low platelet count
10. positive ANA
11. positive anti-DNA or anti-Sm, or antiphospholipid antibody or false pos. syphilis test

Other symptoms are:
hair falling out
fatigue
muscle pain and weakness
dizziness
poor memory
headaches
tingling in extremities
diarrhea
bloating
weight loss
abdominal pain
blurred vision
depression
palpitations
raynauds (where fingers turn white when cold)
intollerance to cold
sore throat
...to name a few

Keep in mind that fibromyalgia, CFS, MS and lymes disease also have similar symptoms.

Hope this helps.
God bless, Kara
