reidel's thyroiditis

I was just wondering if anyone else here had this disease? It is really rare and I am being seen at the mayo clinic to see what we can do ....If anyone has any insight i would love to hear from thank you

I was also at mayo clinic and they said I should see an endocrinologyst for my osteoarthritis. My PCP did'nt understand why he said endocrinologysts work with diabites and thyroid problems. Im stumped like you . When I called for an appointment the receptionist asked me what I was seeing the Dr. for and I said for osteoarthritis and she said I shoud find out for sure from mayo before persuing because the dr.s delt wiht diabites and thyroid problems. So now you have me wonder as well about ridels thyroidits. Keep me posted I really interested. Could be I have some kind of thyroid problem My mother had it.
