scuba diving with myasthenia gravis

by Sam6714, May 17, 2009 04:21PM
I have a friend who is a scuba diver. He has recently been diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, after suffering from weakness in both arms.
He has been started on medication. But should he continue diving.
I understand that some people have only mild symptoms, would this proclude him from diving.
