what is the cause?

i have pain in upper thighs (mainly in right). it is almost 1.5 months.
sometimes some days, i feel very good and no pain but other days it is a sharp pain.
it is not related to the position or activity.
i have dermographism (random appearing and then fading rashes) also but i do not know if there is any connection with this.

Thanks for your comments. I had RA and ANA negative in two recent lab tests. I will try TMG supplementation.

Hi me_just34.

Well it may be a symptom of some arthritic condition, perhaps RA or even
some connective tissue disorder, which (the latter possibility) would be consistent with the hypothesis of a weakened membrane surrounding mast cells close to the skin- in THE ABSENCE of antigens- releasing Histamine as a cause of Dermagraphism. You had a negative ANA in the past right?

Another thing to keep in mind is that Histamine when it does not break down it affects various parts of the body in various ways. It's not just allergies.
There are many different causes for high histamine.
The most common are lack of enzymes like DAO and HNMT.
TMG supplementation for histamine breakdown, as a trial, may be an inexpensive way to go about it, in lieu of going through all the trouble of testing.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
Niko
