Vitiligo and Dermatitis Herpetiformis

I've had vitiligo for over 20 years now and in the last 5 I have noticed first a intense, itchy, blistery rash on my upper buttocks.  Last year I started getting the rash on my elbows, and just in the past couple of months I have gotten it on my knees, lower legs, and trunk.  I've been tested for herpes, shingles, etc..., all neg.  My Dr. is suspecting DH.  My question is now there are poss 2 autoimmune disorders, does that make me more likely to get/discover more?  BTW-8 years ago a DO told me I had fibromyalgia but didn't do any follow up, and moved his practice out of state.

It's likely that you have many other signs and symptoms in addition to the skin rashes if you had a dx of fibromyalgia syndrome.  If the fibromyalgia symptoms are still present, you should consider that you have one or more chronic infections that could cause the rashes as well.  Over 75% of Fibromyalgia patients have chronic infections, so this should be carefully considered.  On our website, immed.org, you can find out more about the infections found in FMS patients.
