They don't believe that is the problem. I have bi lateral hearing loss and Menieres seems to only attack one ear from what i hear? Maybe i am wrong on that....
Have they mentioned Meniere's disease at all?
Thank you so much I will make sure to ask for that!
Your physician can order the Western blot test for Lyme Borrelia burgdorferi. You should suggest Igenex Labs for testing.
Also, important co-infections in Lyme are species of: Mycoplasma, Bartonella, Babesia, Ehrlichia, and a few other infections (in order of prevalence).
Can any doctor order the Western Blot test for Lyme? I have been suspecting Lyme disease for a few months. When I was 16 and 21 I had Bells Palsy now all of these symptoms years later makes me believe that i have been infected for a long time. Thank you for your help doctor.
The ELISA for Lyme Borrelia is not very accurate. I suggest that you consider a Lyme Western blot such as done by Igenex. Also, you should consider other chronic infections, such as Mycoplasma species, Chlamydia pn., etc.
Your signs/symptoms actually fit with chronic infection(s), especially the vertigo, visual disturbances and fatigue.
I suggest that you should consider testing to see if you have chronic infection(s), such as Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, or viruses (see a list on our website under Clinical Testing, immed.org).
they did one MRI on me and said it was clear...I also had a spinal tap and they said that was okay too. The one thing that bothers me is when they did the evoked potentials i did not pass them. My neurologists was a real butt and I also did not have insurance at the time. I am thinking that I need to find a new one now that I have health insurance. They tested me for Lyme but they did not do the western Blot test and I heard that that one is more accurate than the Elise??
Have they checked you fo MS? or lymes?
I also should add that I was so weak for 3 months that I was bed ridden and I also get a rash on my arm and in the area of my chest that would be seen if Iwore a V neck shirt? Any ideas?
