I have been diagnosed with CIDP and treated with IVIG for a couple of years. Can this cause my WBC to lower?
If I am removed from IVIG, what are other treatment options? Any effective supplements?

If immune suppression is occurring (this can happen if you have a chronic infection that suppresses the immune system), this could explain the lower WBC.

There are some other treatment options listed on these websites:

http://www.cidpusa.org/treatment.html
http://www.beverlyhillsneurology.com/neuropathytreatment.html

If chronic bacterial infection(s) are involved (discussed in the first website, above), information can be found on our website, www.immed.org under Treatment Considerations.
