Hashi Patient, How to Remove bipolar DX?

Sorry to jump in w/a question but this is just now bugging me... DXd w/Hashi by the free state mental health svcs (my paid insurance missed it when  I had a good job w/insurance, they just did a partial thyroidectomy and called it good).

Have been off bipolar meds (lamictal) for three years, but just got back on klonipin (klonopin) for anxiety, sleep, etc.

All of the symptoms of Hashi's seem to be what my "bipolar NOS" was - I have only had 2 major manic episodes, during one I had major weight loss (40 pounds in three months) and psychosis. Multiple suicide attempts, history of depression etc... As I've grasped the true impact of Hashi's on my overall well being and am getting a handle on it, I'm wondering if I was never bipolar at all - and if that is the case, do you know of a way to get that DX REMOVED from ones records???

I am uninsured, but am willing to do what I can to get that label removed if it is possible.
