I also had my monthly appointment today.  I go back in 4 weeks & will have early blood work drawn to look for any abnormalities.  Then they will schedule my first u/s!!!  I am super excited & hope the next 4 weeks fly by!!!

As for me went for my monthly check up today, im officially 14wks. got to hear the baby on the doppler, she said the baby was a wiggler, lol... I also got my ultrasound date for 18wks. it will be on Jan 28 i will be able to find out what im having, i'm so excited, i will also have my monthly appt that day......

Mary, Teri and Natalie--YAY!! I'm so happy that everything went well for all three of you!! :o) Such a relief! Hope you can all relax a little and ring in the new year with smiles on your faces!

Waiting until Jan.14th to see my little one again is killing me!! I just can't wait much longer!!  Hope this find everyone doing well. Lori and Bridgette..I tried to make a dump truck pic so I could back up truck loads of baby dust to you two, but alas, I'm not that good, lol! Sending it anyway, though :oP Have a wonderful New Year's eve all! And to those who can, have a little champagne for me :o)  (it's my fave!)

My ultrasound was good!  Heartrate was 182 and baby grew right.  It was such a relief once again to see the heartbeat.  I was so nervous, as it was a repeat of my previous loss.  Thanks for all the prayers- I know I'll continue to need prayers as it will be a long 9 months.

Lori, sorry to keep you waiting. The dr had to preform an emergency surgery so I opted to wait. I ended up waiting for over an hour. Once he did arrive, I told him how worried I was and he said they don't even use the doppler til 12 weeks so he wasn't surprised I didn't find it. He said I should have called in sooner, doesn't want me worrying. He did an u/s and everything was good. The baby had his or her legs crossed, just relaxing. I am so thankful everything was good. He did say I will probably worry until the baby is in my arms b/c of what happened last time. I am going to post pics. Thanks for all the prayers girls!

Teri, glad your appointment went well...we can always use some extra scans :)

Good afternoon, ladies

I'm back from the appt w/ the peri. He said he's not concerned and that I should be fine. He said the poor weight gain is most likely due to my previous weight loss surgery and that it was nothing to worry about. He said I'd most like gain 10 lbs now that the baby will be getting bigger. He does want me to have two additional ultrasounds, one at 28 weeks and another around 34 weeks. I'm happy for the additional monitoring so all is well. My next ultrasound is scheduled for February 17, seven weeks away!  More waiting lol.  Hope all is well with everyone. I'm mobile right now and can't read long threads on my phone for some unknown reason.

I hope so and I think they will b/c I intend to tell hm how freaked out I am plus they have an u/s machine there.  I get to leave in a half hour so I'll let you know when I get back.

LOL Rosie...no you're supposed to be the calm one! I just hope that little baby is hiding in there. I talked to the nurse at the RE's office today at that appointment and she said it is not uncommon to not find the hb at 11 weeks so I am just going to do my best to remain calm...

Ok, I couldn't take it...l made an appt for tomorrow with my regular ob...they will have a doppler and they have an u/s machine so I should get somewhere tomorrow. Wish me luck :)

Thanks girls...I'm sure you're right. I called the RE's office and the nurse wasn't concerned at all. She said they don't even have a doppler in the office b/c they only see patients up to 12 weeks. She said a lot of times it's too early to hear and I do have a very tilted uterus so maybe that is making it harder to hear. So I really doubt she will give me that u/s tomorrow...sigh. I'll have to wait a week, I think I can wait...lol. I lose so much sleep though, I kept waking up all night and has some really bad dreams, too. Can someone reach through the screen and slap me =)  I've got to get my mind off of this somehow!
