Mary, I'm so happy everything looked great!

Well, we finally told the kids last night...they were all so excited...we decided to tell them on the anniversary of our loss so there could be some joy to that day instead of just sadness. I told my mom and sisters and a few people at church right away but that's all for now. I am just going to wait until my 20 week anatomy scan to tell everyone else. As long as I don't see anyone, I should be good...lol.

Back from my u/s- baby looked good.  It's amazing to see how much they grow in just a few weeks.  I will try to figure out how to get photos up- she got some cute shots of the baby and the hands by its face.

Thanks Steph and Rachaellou - I REALLY wanted to wait till after the first dr's apt on Wednesday.  I'm not really "excited" to tell people because it just reminds me of what happened last time.  I'm not planning on telling work until I start to show, there's no need for them to know since I work a desk job.

i told family stright away, and a couple of close friends but we arnt going to tell anyone eles till 12 weeks

I told my family at 9 weeks.  We told them by giving them an unltrasound on christmas.  But it was REALLY hard for me to not tell my mother.  the ladies I share a office with found out around 7 weeks when I got sick in my trash can.... I told close friends around 12 weeks after my second ultrasound.  Now i'm almost 15 weeks and told the HR woman at work.

Good Morning everyone!  Happy Friday!!  I'm SO tired today, more than normal, last night our son was teething and was waking every 2 hours in pain.  And to top it all off DH went to his parents yesterday to play pool with his dad while I was at work, and his sister asked if I was pregnant, and so did his dad!  So now they know.  He's like "Well what should I have said, I didn't want to lie?"  Ugh, I get it, but now it's going to be SO weird because were going over there on Sunday.  I haven't even had the first dr's apt yet.  I'm not ready for people who I see face to face know  If I don't go, there all going to talk about how "crazy" I am.  Sorry, the hormones are REALLY driving me up the wall!  Sorry for the vent.  So I guess I do have a question out of all that...When did you guyes start telling family (or plan to), and if they found out before you wanted to how did you deal with it?

aw, that's so sweet!  It reminds me of when I had my D&C, they gave me an orange carnation (I picked the color) to take home.  I couldn't even look at it with out crying.  I gotta wait till I'm home to finish looking on here, people at work may start to wonder why I keep crying today...

Thanks girls for your uplifting words...it is a tough day but it has made me stronger and it has given me an understanding I didn't have before. I am so thankful for this  baby, it does give me new hope. My DH brought me home the most beautiful bouquet of white flowers to remember our baby. It was so sweet of him but of course that had me crying...Now that we've all had a good cry...Thanks again girls!

natalie, I hope your doing ok today.  My angles due date is my hubbies and mine 4th wedding anniversary, I'm not looking foreword to it.  I just hope as the years go by and we have our new bundle of joy that that day isn't as sad....Now you got me crying thinking about it...lol, silly hormones!

Natalie, I agree with Lori too.  Try & keep yourself as busy as possible today & focus on your new little one.  It is definitely a tough day & I cried reading your journal.  That's one thing I think about too, seeing my angel again.  I also believe that my angel baby has sent me his new little sibling.  (((HUGS)))

As for me, today is the anniversary of our loss so it's a hard day for me. I can't believe it has been a year. I miss my angel baby and am so thankful that I am carrying this new life. I just pray everyday that everything will go perfectly this time.

steph - eah, maybe you'll have a formal event you'd like to wear it to.  I let my sister pick hers (I only had 30 people at the wedding, so she was the only briadsmaid).  She got a 2 piecer that matched my dress and has worn it a few times, at least pieces of it.

Jen - Aw, so cute!  Love the pics!  Yeah my little one never stopped moving, and even after he was born he still doesn't stop!  Sometimes he'll just stand in front of my husband running in place!  

As for me, less than a week now, I finally slept pretty good last night, I'm learning that I NEED to get out of bed to pee at night if I want to sleep.  I haven't in the past because I'm always afraid that if I get out of bed that I won't fall back asleep.

Jenny, Thanks a bunch!  I am so much more relieved now that I know there is actually a baby in there!  Sounds strange I know but to see a little person moving around was the best feeling ever!
