Well ladies, this is the last thread I will get done before my baby girl meets the world Tuesday. I am thrilled beyond words to be able to add another 3 BFP's this week! Lot's of babies being born, so keep the BFP's coming to keep the list nice and long! Bridgette would love to be bored during her semester off!

It's so exciting, and it makes me very happy to get to add BFP's every week. I know that all of us have been through so much to get here, and it's a time of excitement, fear, worry and the unknown.
This week is extra special to me, because a little over a year ago I logged onto MH after my second m/c, and I found this wonderful forum of women who offered so much support and encouragement. One of those women I met was Lori, and over the past year I have seen her selflessly offer herself to anyone who needed a shoulder, advice, encouragement, a place to vent, or even just friendship. Every month went by and even when I know she was feeling pain and discouragement herself she always kept her smiley face on when she felt that she was in the position to be able to offer help, experience and support to someone. I am lucky to live close enough to her that we were able to get together and spend a really wonderful day shopping and getting to know each other off the computer. (And Mikayla keeps asking, Lori, when we are going back to that candy shop so she can get the pink bubblegum coins). Every time I think about how much she deserves this, and how much it means to me on a personal level to be able to put her on this list before my daughter is born, I start bawling like a baby (I am right now) I am so glad I didn't miss this, and wish all of our BFP's this week a very happy healthy 9 months!
Every BFP I add to the list is special, and I hope it offers the encouragement needed to the women on Bridgette's list. (Maybe the end of pregnancy hormones are making me all mushy in preparation for the baby)

Hi ladies!! Hope all is well :) I can't believe how fast time is flying! I'll be 18 weeks on Monday...holy crap!! So, I should be getting my one u/s before Christmas, which will be so nice just before the holidays!! Can't wait to see what he/she looks like :) I have to do some research to learn how to identify if it's a boy or a girl (ie. what ovaries look like on u/s) so I can guess, as they won't tell me....lol! Anyhoo, DH rented a Christmas movie for tonight, can't wait!! I'm really getting in the holiday spirit now..we're going to cut down a tree ourselves tomorrow! It's going to be an old fashioned Griswold family Christmas around here this year, lol!!
Thanks Ladies! I know I should be thankful that he does try very hard to not smoke around me. And your right, I'm not a smoker and I have no idea how ahrd it is to quit. I guess it would be like me quitting medhelp.... Thank you. I feel better I just needed to vent a bit.
Steph_b- I'm a smoker and I know how hard it is to quit. Honestly, the only time I can quit is when i'm pregnant and it doesn't really bother me. As of now my DH smokes(only in the basement)but he'll smoke for a few months and then quit for several years, it's a strange ritual of his! LOL I try to stay away from the smoke if I can, but being from a family of smokers it's kinda hard. I think your DF will get it once everything seems real(U/S) thats when mine realizes wow there is a baby in there! Good luck, but try not to stress to much over it :)
Steph, i feel for you. Thankfully neither I or BF smoke. Going cold turkey never works. He should really look into the nicotine patch or something like that, or maybe took to his physician they can probably recommend something.

So my Fiance was trying to quit smoking, so he went to a hyponotist with his dad and brother last night. I guess it was a load of crap and didn't seem to help any of them. So he decided he was going to try to quit on his on. He last less than a day.. I'm so discouraged. He doesn't seem to care how it effects his health, or even seem to care that it effects the babys health, or my health. He doesn't smoke in our house, or in my car. He will however smoke in his own car. I don't let him when I'm in there, but i still feel like then lingering smoke on his clothes and car aren't good for us. I wish I could get him to see the brigger picture....
