Has your AF changed after 35?

MY AF has been lighter for the last two years and I'm wondering if this is age related or due to two MCs that I had..

In my 20s ,I used to bleed alot..I mean really alot...In early 30s got lighther...

Now I'm 35 they last about three days and very light....I would think it is normal to have a lighter AFs,but since we are TTC,I'm wondering what's the relationship between how much you bleed during AF and how much fertile you are......
I feel like the lighter it gets,it less fertile I'm......

I think I just wanna hear that as long as you have AFs and I ovulate, doesn't matter how much bleeding I have ????

or does it really matter at all?

any thoughts?

I have noticed that in the last year or so my bleeding hasn't really changed but I have been able to really feel when I am ovulating...it is almost incomfortable and can lst for a few days. I have also had a m/c in Nov. at 9 weeks and had to have a D&C and I tried again I think too fast and was pregnant again in the next cycle after my af came. It ended in a natural mc at 5 weeks so I don't think my body had recovered properly. The PA at my doctors said that as we get older we can have lower progesterone which is needed in the first trimester until the placenta takes over. They gave me a prescription for progesterone suppositories to use the next time I have a bfp. But I have read you should really take it a few days after o'ing so it can help with implantation. After reading way too much I think I may have estrogen dominance which can also happen as you get older and I started to take Vitex after the last mc. It is suppose to help regulate your hormones naturally but it can take a few months to work. If I were you I would ask my doctor about progesterone. I also have 3 healthy children and never had a problem with pregnancy until now...so I know it has to have at least a lil bit to do with my age and hormones. I hope you are blessed and although every woman is different I hope my info helped a bit. Baby dust to you and blessings all around.

I'm 42 and my af's are pretty much the same as they were when I was 20. I bleed pretty heavy for the first few days and then the last few are so-so. I'm sure it has to do with your m/c's, when were they? As for how much you bleed I don't believe that has anything to do with fertility, if that were the case I'd be pg every 9 months :)    Lori
