Nervous!

I posted this in another forum and was told about this group and figured I would post it here as well...Hope everyone doesn't mind!

I have 2 sons that I have been blessed with! They are wonderful, but I have always wanted a 3rd child.

I had a miscarriage in 2004, thought I was 11wks pregnant, but baby had stopped growing at 9wks. It devastated me!

3 days ago at an ER visit for unrelated problems I found out I was pregnant! Surprise!!!  They did a vaginal u/s but it was too early to show anything. They guesstimated my pregnancy to be at 4wks. My hcg was 1515, and then 36 hours later it was 2650. Not quite doubled but they say it can take up to 48 hours to double.

I am so nervous that something bad is going to happen:(  What do you all think the hcg numbers look like??  I am not having an OB appt until wednesday the 14th....feel like I will go crazy until then!!!

I hear you on being scared.  My first pregnancy was AWESOME b/c I didnt mc before.  I didnt even think of it.  Then my second pregnancy, I MC and my third I gave birth to a DD.  I worried most of that pregnancy.  It was NOT fun.  I just MC again for my 4th pregnancy and am trying for a 5th but 3 successful one.  I know I will be on edge the entire time.  After the MC experience, its only natural.
Hang in there and take it day by day!

Hi! Welcome to our group! Your not alone in being scared after a loss. From what I just read at 4 weeks LMP your levels should be 5-426mIU/ml, so if you ask me your numbers look great. Congratulations and try and relax(easier said than done I know!lol) Keep us posted on how your appointment goes. Hope this info helped ease your mind a bit:)                       Lori
