bleeding after pre-term birth ro m/c

I had a pre-term birth (baby died two hours later) at 22 weeks, doctors called it pre-term birth because of how far along we were, but it still is kind of like late miscarriage by some definitions.  i had a D&C hours after the birth because i couldn't deliver the placenta naturally.  I bled lightly for about two weeks straight after that.....then nothing....i had some clear egg white vaginal mucus and we did the baby dance two or three times....then after about a 8-10 days I noticed some bleeding again, however this time it is only when i wipe and has not even been enough to have to wear a panty liner except for a couple hours at night once......
anyone have a similiar experience.....how long does bleeding last after D&C? Does it flow continuously, and or stop and go like i am having.....this is not enough blood or continual enough for me to think it is AF already.....anyone have an idea?

My dr told me to consider the d&c day 1 of my cycle.  I bled lightly for about two weeks and then I didn't get AF until 6 weeks total.  But there have been two cycles since the m/c where I had some midcycle spotting...right around O time.  I never had that before the m/c.  I called the dr. both times and they said it was fine and not to worry unless there was pain or odor or other symptoms that could signal infection.

Good luck to you....i replied to your last post and I hope you are feeling a little better.

When I had my D&C I bleed for 12-24 hours pretty lightly, then after a full week and day or so I bleep for a week and it was basically like a normal AF for me.  They say up to 2 weeks of bleeding on and off is common.  It's different for everyone.  About 4 days or so after the bleeding stopped I ovulated.

If you ovulated and that's what the clear white mucus is then it's possible that 8-10 days later it was implimation bleeding.
