That is kinda cool that we are both in Edmonton. if my blood test is positive (crossing fingers) I will need to get an obgyn. do you have you would recommend, or do I need a referral from my regular doctor? I have heard great things about the grey nuns so i would like to have a doctor that delivers there. but i have also thought about going the midwife route, i know at stony plain hospital they have a midwife ward attached to the hospital. I am scared though i have a very low pain tolerance and may want the epidural.

Lynzieloo- they say results will come in today or tomorrow., i think i will lose my mind if its tomorrow!

Everyone- what are your thoughts on the midwife thing? are any of you going that route or have in the past? I was thinking of water birth....if i am pregnant!
have you guys had good experiances in the hospital? Both my aunte and sister in law recently gave birth and asked to NOT have the vitamin k shot given, they had both read that it is unneccesary and contains glucose. Both babies are perfectly healthy without it. I beleive midwifes dont even do it at all. any opinions or advice is great!

I had my twin boys at the Grey nuns actually. There are tons of obgyns and what not. I went with Dr. Mcubin, I don't know if they need to referral. I am sure they can give you names of different obgyns. I have never tried a midwife way, but the epidural is great it really is. I don't know why people choose not to use it, because if you have that option sometimes its safer to. I was only in labor for 5 hours and it only took 10-15 minutes to push the boys out, and I was soo frozen I couldn't feel anything. But the last 30 minutes before I started pushing was rough, the pain went straight to my legs. But it all depends on your pain tolerance. I wanted to do it with out the epidural, but I got scared and plus with twins they recommended that I take the epidural in case of emergency c-section. To me I am nervous of surgery. Well I hope your test comes back positive. Definitely wish you the best of luck for that. Water births might be nice, they may be a little relaxing..... or maybe not I don't know.

This is my 1st pregnancy but I am choosing to go natural and with my regular family doctor who is also an OB.....Im just setting my mind to the fact that I can do it naturally , and I believe I can......its alot of mind over matter I think , any pain is really.....and for me , im okay with pain as long as its not like a cut with blood.....if I can SEE the pain then I freak out lol.....but who knows I could be totaly delusional and go for the epidural when the time comes :P

Hello All.
Guess I'm the only Canadian out East.  I'm in Toronto.
Well, status update.  
I was due for AF today.  Of course it was the longest day of my life :)  I was waiting for AF to appear all day and so far nothing.   Soooooooo that prompted me to test this evening when I got home from work.  And it was a big BFN.
Can't say I was surprised seeing as I haven't even technically missed AF yet.  But there was a part of me yelling and screaming and cheering my pee on as I tested :)
I'm a little upset right now but know that there is still some hope and that I could test positive later this week if I continue to miss AF.  So hope is not lost quite yet.

krissyy- thanks for your comments.  It is hard going through this alone especially considering my husband just doesn't quite get it when I get AF each month and become upset about it.  He is a big believer in "it will happen when it is meant to happen"  Drives me CRAZY :)

I am jealous, you are are from nearby eachother!  :) (not really, but I am glad for you guys up there in Canada)...lonely old NE, USA for me.  :D  I have other ttcer's here with me, so it's not too bad.  
I just need to state again, I LOVE our forum   :D

I feel unusually happy, perhaps it's b/c babies and bfp's seem to be popping up everywhere...and it's WARM outside, for the first time this spring!!!!!!!!!!!  
I am sure all the customers who have little ones or are prego think I am very strange when my eyes light up when I see them...  hahahaha....dippy things warmer weather can do to one.
So I get to test on the 25th or so...my luteal phase is LOOOOOOONG!  (I use mymonthlycycles.com)

Hkenny- Whenever I find out if I am prego or not, I am going to use the same woman who delivered me, whom I think is just a regular obgyn Dr.  I would love to use a midwife at somepoint in my reproductive life however.  And I think a water birth would be pretty cool too (except I've heard it's very messy-but what birth isn't?)  ;)  
Would you want to give birth at a birthing centre, hospital, or at home with a midwife?  
For me, I think a home birth would be wicked cool, but yeah, definetly not to that point yet.

hkenny.... i have a fre friends who used midwives and loved it! i also have one friend who recently had a home birth an said that it was the best birthing experience she has had, and she has 2 other kids. i however, had my daughter in the hospital, and my husband is in the military, so it was a military hospital, so i dunno if that is different from  civilian hospital as far as how they run things, but i enjoyed my experience.... i think it depends on what dr and nurses you get nd if they have had a bad day! LoL  hoping you get your test results ASAP!!!  still crossing my fingers for you 8) * sending baby dust your way!*

lookalike....  dont be discouraged by your bfn, i have heard of people who have had bfns until they were 2 or more weeks past af... so keep hope up and go to the dr and take a blood test if you just cant wait for another week before a pee test! good luck! *Lots and Lots of Baby dust your way *

all..... i had a surprisingly easy day today, no stress about testing or whether or not im pregnant, just a real nice day. (hoping the rest of this week goes by as smoothly) thinking i am going to test on saturday morning with first morning urne, but i may wait another day or two if i can hold off.... i m hoping this is my month, and a christmas baby would just be SO exciting!!! but i also need to realize that when it is my time, it will happen! so hope you all have the same sense of calm that i suddenly came across today and i wish you all luck and happy babies! xoxoxoxo p.s. this forum has been what has helped me through this 2ww as well, and i want to thank you all for your positive attitudes and loads of support and sweetness! love you all!!!!! 8)

Well I went to the doctors today and he told me that you can be pregnant and take a test and it comes back negative, but never the other way around does it say positive and actually your not pregnant.
But I think we all know that.
Rough estimate of my due date is December 18th. Expensive month my twins were born on the 1st.

All- I hope that all of you who are still waiting to test or ttc have lots of luck. I know everyone where I am seems to be pregnant or having babies, and it gets frustrating especially when your trying and no results.
So I hope all the best to you all.

I swear so many people I know are pregnant or having babies , I have 4 girlfriends and were all due within weeks of eachother.....im terrified when I go into labour its gonna be like maternity ward overload with all the people who seem to be due around the same time as me LOL.....When my cousin had her daughter , they had women labouring in the halls they were so busy.....Scary! lol....

Lynzie , I think your right in the saying " it will happen when its meant to happen"........Im due on my birthday , which is totaly bizzare yet so exciting! and to me a sign of fate , that it was kind of meant to be......and even if its not born on my birthday , 2 days later is my Uncles birthday who passed away , so for my family it would be an even greater gift.....so it just seems like really perfect timing.....and we have been planning a trip back to east to where my Fiance's family is , and we wanted to go when the baby was about 6 weeks old so that they would get sometime to spend with the baby as a newborn and get to know it.....and its worked out perfect , we will be here to spend christmas with my family , but his family is going to get to spend an entire month with the baby in November!..............Im 18 weeks , and im loving every minute! :).....We dont know the gender and we arent going to find out! We decided to be suprised :) I think its a girl though , Fiance thinks its a boy LOL...go figure :P......Yeah my little ultrasound pic was @14 weeks , im getting another Ultrasound tommorow....My "20" week one ....Im super excited! and its the first ultrasound that my Fiance is home for! so hes even more excited than me lol :)....Thanks for asking :)

Krissy , how was your workout DVD?.....How often do you use it?.....My girlfriend & I joined a pre-natal pilates class at the arena pool , the class is an hour and a half and then we usually swim for an hour before.....Its amazing!!.....I love it!.....I try to go to the gym if I can , and ride the bike or use the treadmill just to get moving , the weather is alot nicer here though so I am trying to get out for walks and stuff.......Im terrified im gonna be over 200lbs before I even hit 9 mths LOL

lol twins again.... umm sure I do. It has its ups and downs definitely. But watching them interact is great. Plus they now play/fight with each other. Its nights like this though that kids can be stressful. Been up since 11:30pm with one of them he won't stop throwing up, and since he won't drink water for me he continues to just dry heave, so not much sleep considering its not 6:30am. But yes twins would be nice especially if they are girls. Or even if its one I hope its a girl. I'm out numbered 3-1 here so lol it would be nice.
Swimming must be nice while your pregnant. Helps with feeling a little lighter I heard.
Working out is also healthy for the baby I heard, so that is good.

I am freaking out right now. I just called the clinc to inquire about my test results and the receptionist was like "we only call back on positive results" WTF does that mean???
she didnt ask me who I was or anything, all she added was that I could come in with id and get shown the results. I feel like crying, I am so sure I am pregnant and now I am 2nd guessing myself. Has anyone ever had this happen before?

i am so sorry, you are going through such a mess!!!!  i haven't ever heard of them not telling you your results over the phone, and also i have never heard of them only calling back for positive results... they should call everyone and let them know what there results are regardless....  when was the last time you took a hpt??  maybe you should buy a cheapo early result one and try it again....  if not id be down there with my id to see what the results were just for peace of mind... because you will always wonder! best of luck!

Thank you for easing my mind! I feel like crying, I am going there right after work to see them. The blood clinic told me they would call regardless. i havent done an hpt since sunday morning, I have a test at home so I will be doing it tomorrow morning. I just feel like maybe I really was wrong, I havent really had syptoms (symptoms) today, cm has turned more white and sticky, before it was clear and stretchy, and no abdominal pain since yesterday either. I just dont know what I will do if it really is negative. My husband is finally getting excited and I fear that if I am not he will go back to not wanting to get pregnant. This is so stressful! My sister in law and mom are excting too, everyone keeps asking if I have heard yet. I still dont have my period and I dont have any syptoms (symptoms) associated with it. Could I miss it or it be really late b/c I am stressed out?
I really dont know what I would do with out you guys! It makes things easier somehow to talk with people who have or are experiancing the same thing.
I just pray that I am pregnant!!

katebud-i am from eastcoast usa.  i didn't realize there were so many canadians in our little friends group :-)  

hkenny-i am using my obgyn in our hospital.  my obgyn group has 4 doctors, 2 are male and 2 are female.  i am sooooo hoping for one of the females to deliver my baby!!!  i know i need to get over my fear of male doctors...  

jamie-as if december isn't expensive enough!!  but what a special time of year ot have a baby.  all of your family will be able to share in your joy during the holidays!!  

keeks-i do my workout 5 days a week.  now that it's warmer, the days i take good walks i skip my workout.  it really gives me a lot of energy!  so far, i have gained 10.5 lbs...i am really starting to see it in my tummy region now!  i've heard that around 20 weeks, you just pop out over night!

my most recent obsession-girls, i am freaking out!  i am so afraid that my tech made a mistake with my gender prediction!!!!  i have been obsessing over it for a week now!  i had a few people tell me about a tech telling them it's a girl, and then it turning out to be a boy after they bought all pink stuff.  i have some girl outfits and have registered for girl stuff.  i am about to purchase all of my girlie bedding and i want to be extra sure before i do.  my doc said they usually are right with their predictions.  however, i read the stats online and it says if the tech actually points out the labia, there is a good chance they are right about the gender.  however, if they tech bases her decision on, "i don't see any boy parts" than there could be a mistake!  and of course, that is what my tech said...ugh!  in my heart, i do believe it's a little girl.  i have most of the classic girl symptoms.  but just in case, i scheduled a 3d/4d sono for tomorrow!  they squeezed me in :-)  i am having one in june, but my doctor assured me that they are totally safe and many people have sonos done weekly or monthly so i feel okay with it.  i will let you know what happens!

Well it's official.  I'm two days late for AF.  I was so much more relaxed about it at work today and hardly though about it.  But the minute I walked through the front door of my house, to the bathroom I went.  I tested again and still a BFN!!!!  What is going on? Is it because I used a cheap $ store version?  I guess I should be using FMU as well.
Two days late and no BFP.  I'm terribly confused.  I know testing today was sort of silly considering I tested yesterday and it was a BFN and they say you should wait two days before testing again to let the hormones build up.  I'm just so inpatient.
I haven't even told my husband yet that I am two days later.  No one knows.  However I guess it's better this way, I have no one to explain anything to except myself.
I guess if I'm still getting BFN's by Friday I will schedule a blood test on Monday and hope that AF doesn't appear over the weekend.
As I mentioned before my symptoms have just vanished.  I get some light cramping every once and awhile and I run to the bathroom all the time thinking AF has started but it is just CM.  I'm hoping this is a good sign.  I have never been late for AF before- EVER so I am praying that something is up and I get a BFP soon :)

blood test came back negative, I am still 4 days late. The doc gave me another aquisition for a blood test and told me to go after my period is a week late. I dont know what to think, I am so sad and feel so heartbroken but should I have some hope?

I am so sorry that it seems to be a rough time for you. You may still have hope, or worst case scenario is you wanted to be pregnant so bad that your body actually thinks it is so you haven't gotten your period yet. I know I have done that in the past. But I'm sure there could still be hope.
I hope things work out for you. TTC can always be a heartbreaking experience sometimes, but it will happen=). So keep having faith and hope.

i am sorry to hear that there are still all these bfn's here! :( i too tested yesterday as af was due either yesterday or tomorrow and no sign of it yet. i am going to try and keep my mind off of it, but with my daughter i got a bfp 2 days before af was due, so i am thinking that this is a no! but oh well, i am going to stop freaking about *** and just let it happen, after all, what is the rush????? anyways my daughter ws born in february, so if i got pregnant in may they would have the same burth month, and i think that would be cool! so we will see, im thinking of getting the ovulation kit, which one do you suggest for the best price???? i have seen that first response has an ovulation kit, any good??? well let me know and i hope you all get your bfp's soon! I am really wondering if  I am crazy!! Last night my husband noticed small bumps on my nipples. I have never had these before, one nipple has more than the other. Is my mind creating this syptom (symptom)? or am I pregnant? ARRHHH this is so frustrating, the funny thing was I didnt notice he did....maybe this is wishful thinking?

You can still take a hpt, just wait about 4 hours so that the hcg can build up!  :)  (I can't usually wait that long to pee, due to all the water I am constantly downing).

katebud-i had pains a week after O too, and there were 2 days where my gums bleed. I am sooo crossing my fingers for you, maybe we are both pregnant and not crazy. that would be great!

krisssy-i ovulated on march 29 (day 17), we had sex that morning at 4am! i am now on day 35....and no AF!

I am hoping and praying like mad that I do not get af and that I can go get another blood test next monday.

I don't remember for my first pregnancy if this happen, but is it normal in the first part of pregnancy to feel a little bit of lower pain? its not like menstrual cramp pain, but some sort of dull ache I guess.

Hello again!
Well here is another update from me.  Woke up this morning and still no sign of AF.
Was lying in bed contemplating whether or not to test.  Well of course I did end up testing.  Used FMU and still 2 BFN!!!!!  I am so confused at this point.  I guess at this point I should hold off testing on a daily basis and give it a good coupld of days.

krissyy- I ovulated on April 1st- go figure my O date is the same day as April Fool's Day and now my AF is fooling me :)  I am now 17 days since O

hkenny- keep up the positve thoughts- you never know what can happen!

katebud and jamie-I agree, I really hope the lower abdomin (abdomen) pain is a sign, cuz i had it for over a week right after 0. it was not like period cramps, sometimes it actually felt like O cramps but it was across the abdomin (abdomen) and then sometimes on either the right or left side.

Well it could be. My doctors already confirmed yesterday that my pregnancy tests that they did on me on tuesday were definitely positive, and I don't get that feeling all the time. Its just there every now and then. So I am wondering if others have gotten this too. It could maybe be that my body is adjusting to the baby being there or something.
I hope its nothing serious.

Yeah, well I think you are probley onto something with the deeper " pains" Jamie.  :)  I hope your baby sticks!!!!!  Tons of sticky baby dust with honey and maple syrup, and sugar crystals to harden it over......(I think my teeth hurt thinking about all that sweetness )  :)  I hope you are reassured soon.

hkenny-girl, you are pregnant!  i will be your hpt for you!!!  18 day luteal phase??  you must be pregnant!  most luteal phases (time between ovulation and af) are 12-14 days, some are 16...but they usually say longer than 16 days means there was conception.  if you are positive about your ovulation date, and i will say that i am positive you are pregnant.

lookalike-see my above comment to hkenny cuz same goes to you girl!  if it has been 17 days since ovulation, this must be it!

pains in lower tummy-in very early pregnancy, just a few days after i got my bfp, i had weird sensations...i'm not sure if it was pain, just uncomfortable weirdness...i think organs and such were moving in preparation for what was about to come...

gender confirmation-it's absolutely a girl!  after my bit of paranoia, they did a confirmation...saw an upclose shot of the little suzie Q!  yay, now i can relax!

I had the little weird bumps on my boobs too , as they grew and got darker the bumps got bigger.....I dont know what it means though .......

Jamie , I had those weird kinda dull aches for the first few days after my BFP .....I think it was just stretching , preparing for everything? I still get them every once in a while only now it feels more like a pulling than an ache......Its totaly normal im sure! :)

Krissy! Awwwww im so glad they confirmed your little girl! The re-assurance really helps I bet :) YAY!

Just a little update on me......I had another ultrasound yesterday , which was amazing ( pic to come soon).....Im measuring ahead this time though , which makes me 19 weeks today! Kinda exciting! Its only 3 days ahead of my original due date but kind of exciting to get to the next week!.........The baby was SO good during the 1st 45 mins of the ultrasound but when they were showing my fiance the baby , and trying to do some stuff with the 3D imaging , it went crazy LOL....It HATES having anything on top of it , even like a hand , it freaks out and rolls around and tries to kick it , so when the ultrasound wand was touching it , it would roll over so all you could see was its back , or it would fling its legs up and like go into a ball and kick LOL.....It was the cutest thing!!......It was really active this morning too so I think its still upset LOL

i saw that a few of you posted that because krissy and lookalike ovulated on april 1st you say that they are most likely pregnant because they have had a luteal phase of longer than 16 days.... is that true??? if so, i have until April 20 (this sunday) for me to be at 16 dpo. i am currently at 13  dpo.  what else can cause a delayed af?? i have read that stress can, but i dont have any stress, other than trying to conceive, hehehe.   i have read alot that says you should wait until a week after af is late to test. i know i got a bfp 2 days before af was due with my daughter, but im wondering if maybe the fertilized egg just implnted late... is this possible?? what other things could happen, i am just a bit worried because i got a bfp last month when i was about 5 days late for af and took another test the next morning, and it was neg... i later found out i had a miscarriage, and i am worried of the same thing happening again. i know that it is unlikely, but i was just hoping that i could be pregnant first month after my m/c..... has anyone else heard of anyone getting pregnant right after a m/c, even before they have had their first normal period???  i am just wondering if my period is going to be different because of the m/c..... but i DID have an o pain on the 4th.... i have never tracked the o pain before, but when i started reading about it i paid attention when i felt that pain, it was only for one day and it was a few hrs on and off dull pain on my right side ( kinda where you would expect an appendix to be) and when i felt it, i realized that i DO feel that every month! so it is a good sign that i felt it right??? because chances are that i DID ovulate, so i COULD be preggo right?????  i am so freaking out! :) i need to chill! hehehehe

oh my god so much to read and it hasnt even been that long since i was last on!!! it is all very exciting. too much to talk about though so just a bit for now. it looks like i am the only aussie!!! :( Now i feel very lonely here! all you girls out there TTC i think of your journey all the time. it was such a stressful yet exciting time for me. good luck and i do believe a few of you may already have conceived from your symptoms but fingers crossed hey. keeks when is your new due date? mine is 9.9.08 at this stage but have my scan next week so might change once again. the sickness is ok for me at the moment. i am on some pretty expensive medication that really helps but as soon as i stop taking them i am sick and back to hospital again. spirits are high though. the bubba is kicking me all the time now and is most active at night when i am in bed. it is such a great feeling and is so hard that hubby has finally been able to feel it which was exciting for him......will post again soon - school pick up time for me!!

I did an hpt this morning and BFN> no sign of AF though. This is very frustrating!
I havent really had any preggo syptoms (symptoms) since mondayish. I am so confused.
i did fall asleep on the couch last night at 9pm....and I do still have the little bumps on my nipples...I guess i have some hope but its slowly diminishing.

Today and for the next few days could be implantation for me (if there is anything there...)    :)  Went out and bought some FRER tests for the big day, if AF doesn't show.  :)

Well here I am at home and sick as a dog today.  Sore throat and cough and just feel like ****.  I'm worried that this sickness is just delaying AF and that is why I haven't gotten it yet.
Today there was still no sign of AF and now I am 4 days past my expected AF date.
I think for the rest of today and the weekend I am going to try to hold off testing until Monday morning.  It is getting very expensive :)

Girls, i am freaking out, I was with a client at work and felt really "wet" down there, i couldnt get to the bathroom right away but all i could think of was please dont be af please please please, it was more like begging actually.
now i have a bad pain in my right ovary area all the way around to my back, it hurts, its like a dull achey (achy) thing. what does this mean??
oh ya cm was very watery and white/clearish. not stretchy and not crumbly.
any ideas what this means or is????

I really wish I knew the answer to your questions... I can't say I have experienced any of the things you are describing. Or if I have I don't really remember. Supposedly I read ovulation CM can be egg white/ or clear, stretchy, or wet. But really I have no idea.
I am sorry you are having a very stressful time with all this. Wish I could be more of help.

hkenny and the the other ttc'ers - I wish I had an answer for you! :( I'd say with no sign of AF this far past your ovulation- then it would stand to reason that you are pregnant...however, I personally know that you can be weeks late and not pregnant. Last October I was three weeks late- not sure if it was stress or what but I was not preggers. It drove me nuts! I'd say that if you've had a blood hcg done and it's still negative- that you are probably not this month. Only because you would think that in order for it to stop your period from coming there should be enough of the hormone in your blood to be detected. However, I have heard of cases where this was not the case. I'd say go with your gut. If your gut is telling you somethings up, then just act as if you were pregnant just in case.

I'm so glad you got confirmation on the little girl! I was going nuts with that too! We had our gender determination appt on Thursday too. We were told at 12 and 13 weeks that it was a boy- but as soon as the Dr put the ultrasound on, there he was sprawled eagle- showing his ding ding for the world. There is NO mistaking that. LOL.

On a ickier note than that, just a couple hours before our appt, I WAS FIRED. Yea. Fired.

Two days after they found out I was pregnant they put me on some "performance" thing- after I've never had one complaint, etc in three years with that company. The second they found out I was pregnant, I'm suddenly under review. I was put on a 90 day review. Funny thing is, a week after my boss did this- comes to me and informs me that I should look for another job. Before my review period was up. Two months ago they started advertising for MY job. Funny thing is, my boss fired another lady before me- in her fourth month of pregnancy. Within days of them finding out we're pregnant we were both put on the 90 day out the door process. For no reason. Other than "budgets and poor performance!" wtf. I've always been a top performer that everyone likes, even as I shook her hand and said bye- she's like "you're such a sweet girl and we enjoyed having you here".

I SHOULD mention that my boss has been TTC for YEARS and has been unsuccessful. It's recently caused problems in her marriage bc her husband wants kids and she cant have them. So it's pretty odd that the last two people she's fired, were pregnant women. She knew that we had just bought our home, and that I needed my insurance and FMLA.

Needless to say, my first call was to my boyfriend- my second was to my lawyer. :) They are going DOWN.

Luckily for me my boyfriend is a wonderful man who's been supportive and just told me to heck with them, stay home for a while - take a break and find something that makes me happier when I'm ready. But it still makes me FURIOUS because I didnt deserve it. Not to mention, but NOW I have to deal with trying to get some sort of state aid for medical insurance- pray that my chosen OB will take me and that my standard of care will be the same, and all kinds of other things.

I feel like my boss didnt want to see any pregnant women around her, when she cant have kids- and because of the economy she didnt want to have to allocate for us being out on FMLA and getting paid during that time. I would have been paid becuase I'm on Salary and commissions.

GRRRR Any suggestions?

I read up on something about bosses and having employees who are pregnant. I guess it something about your putting your personal life ahead of your work priorities. Which sounds so stupid, due to if people didn't create other human beings companies wouldn't have workers, but whatever.
Your boss sounds like my sister in law. Her and her husband were ttc for a long time and then when my 2 other sister in laws got pregnant, as well as me around the same time she pretty much hated it because she didn't get pregnant, so she would literally try pushing us down the stairs. I know its no the same situation, but the attitude on because they can't conceive and we did is sort of the same lol.

Hkenny, I am sorry to hear about this whole thing. I do know that one time for me I thought I was pregnant, and it turns out I wanted to be soo much that literally my body thought it was so my period was late. It can happen. But, I don't know. Blood tests I heard are supposed to be pretty accurate more so then pee tests, and supposed to detect it pretty early. I would suggest going to see your doctor and finding out what could be causing your period delay. Maybe getting another blood test is the best way to go, and if it comes back negative maybe talk to your doctor about different reasons of the late period.

Yea, the whole thing blows. I'm positive that they are in violation of something with the way it went down. I've never been written up, it all just came out of nowhere. But Since Nevada is a right to work state - that means employers can fire you for any reason at all. However, I'm still taking it to court. And they're going down.

And It snows here in Reno in April. It's supposed to snow tonight. Bleh. haha. Maybe I should move to Canada, eh?

Yes I think they are. Jealousy always seems to get the better end of people. It always seems that way, I know my mom had a best friend who has been trying to get pregnant forever and my mom happened to get pregnant first, and she got my mom fired and stopped talking to her. Eventually she did get pregnant but still. I just can't believe the things people do.

lynzieloo-i haven't ovulated since december :-)  hehe.  stress can delay ovulation, but your period should come between 10-16 after.  if it's late, it could be because you ovulated late or because you are pregnant!!  if you are sure about when you ovulated (by using the test strips, etc) than likely it's pregnancy!  this is what i have learned from an abundance of research and obsession when i was ttc :-)

lookalike-i don't want to give you any false hope, but i was sick as a dog with flulike symptoms too and ended up being pregnant.  many of my earliest pregnancy symptoms were like the flu.  i remember telling the girls on here that i am either getting really, really sick or i am pregnant!  good luck to you!

Yes, the snow is just wonderful. To think it was all melted, but I should not of gotten my hopes up that it was gone for good lol.
That is the hard thing about your period and being pregnant, all the symptoms of being pregnant also happen right before your period. It gets hard to tell after awhile.

Something strange I just noticed....
all my teeth have white tips all of a sudden , I went to the bathroom and noticed they are all like this in the front. Top and bottom teeth, it looks very strange. My co-woker said this is a sign of pregnany but I cant find anything about it online. I was starting to think all my syptoms (symptoms) were self induced but I dont really think I can make my teeth change color!
Has anyone else ever seen this?

Well, AF decided to stop by after all.  I was a tad surprised seeing as though I was 6 days late.  However I was pretty sick the last few days with a horrible cold and I think that is what it was.   Go figure.  So no luck this cycle and no Christmas baby for me :(
So now this puts my next O time while I am away on vacation next week.  I've heard that being away is a great time to conceive so here's hoping :)  Sun and relaxation is exactly what I need right about now.

Well guess I won't get my first appointment with my OB/GYN until July 3, and I'm supposed to book an appointment with my family doctor for him to get all the blood work to check for different things they check when your pregnant, and then I'm supposed to get my first 18wk ultra sound between July 15-30th. But his family is doing a vote on what I will have, I voted twin girls next. That would be good to have twin boys, and then twin girls. Lots of work though.

Lookalike- I am sorry to hear about your AF showing up. I hated when that happened to me. But yes I heard vacations are good, especially if your not thinking about ttc, but if your going with your man it should be good and romantic or maybe it won't, but good luck to you lol...

lynzieloo- You could try testing again. I know I tested too early and it said negative, never really upset me though I felt it was just too early, and then I tested 2 weeks later when my period was supposed to come and they were both positive.
So good luck to you, even when I tested too early and it said negative I was feeling bloated and had to pee constantly. Mind you I still do, and I feel a little bloated, but I guess that is what happens with pregnancy. So I wish you good luck!!.. hope your tests come back positive.

I haven't started AF yet, and I am on cd 25 (I don't remember if I said that recently or not...)  I don't have the horrific pms mood swings, but maybe it's just that my cycle is better this month. :D  I usually am unbearable this time of month, so I hope that I have something else going on...but hubby has been extra good to me lately too, more than usual so that could be it too.  He stayed home sick from work today, and I had today off, so we cuddled and slept till 5pm!!!!  Needless to say, I feel a lot better for it.  
I hope that some of us catch little beanies this month.  Love to all. :)

Yes, when I had my twin boys I was so worried of gaining tons of weight but I only gained 45 pounds, and was able to loose the weight within a week. Plus I had gym nights with my mom twice a week to get a break. Love them to death, but its always nice to have that break.
Don't you hate that feeling before testing? I am always feeling before I test that is going to be negative, so when it turns positive its always a shock. But I hope you have good luck this time.

did an hpt this morning and BFN. Still no AF. Boobs are SOO SORE! I went to bed at 9pm last night.
mmm. dont really know what to think any more, still have tiny bumps on nipples and my face is breaking out, i mean I got these GIGANTIC mountains on my face.
Sooo, AF is either on its way or I am pregnant, I am giving up hope though. I am now 1 week and 2 days late for AF and 25 days past O. No idea what to think. I cant decide if I should go for the blood test or not, I was so nervous last time and was heart broken when it was negative, I told myself I would go when I got a BFP on the stupid stick.

oh ya and I called my dentist about my teeth turning white on the tips, and they said it can happen during pregnancy. I could be giving myself the other syptoms (symptoms) but my teeth??

After ovulation, your cervix will drop lower in your vagina and feel firm, like the tip of your nose. During pregnancy, the cervix will rise a bit and become softer, but the timing of this happening will vary from woman to woman. For some, this will happen shortly before their period is due, but for other, this will not happen until quite a while after their pregnancy has been confirmed.

Also, man I forgot how sore your boobs can get when your pregnant. But they hurt like bloody hell. But, if you think your boobs hurt now, wait till when baby comes the gorging stage hurts your boobs become rock hard, its kinda gross lol then one morning you wake up and wet from head to toe because your milk has come. It's a good thing baby is worth it.

Oh your teeth thing, that is a good thing about your teeth being a sign. Its just different news to me lol I've never heard of that before. Maybe I should check mine.

No Problem!!! I have been obsessed it seems like before with this whole Cervical mucus and position of cervix. When I stopped birth control in march just to watch the signs. Mind you I never checked the position because that just kinda creeped me out lol, but I did check my cervical mucus every time I went to the washroom, and I was constantly on the web looking up the mucus and all this fun stuff.

Cervical mucus I find gets confusing because even after my Ovulation period it seemed like it was still looking like the CM your supposed to have during Ovulation, so it got confusing and I ended up giving up. But, if your really in tune with your body that is great. I heard its a good thing to be that way so you can tell different things.

or its bad b/c you obsess like me!! hahah. it seemed to me that the mucus i got before af was due was the same looking as ovulation, but it lasted for 2 weeks and its a bit more watery. i have read this is from the mucus plug...which would lead me to believe i am pregnant, i have been charted for 3 years. i am allergic to the pill and all other hormonal forms of birth control, i wasnt about to use condoms with my husband so i charted, its very educational and was great until now. sometimes i wish i didnt know so much b/c then i wouldnt obsess about maybe being pregnant, i wouldnt even have thought about it unless i was late. its a toss up really.  It really is amazing what the female body is capable of doing though!

LOL I think we all have our moments when we obsess over this sort of thing.  Its so easy trying not to get pregnant, but then trying to get pregnant can take forever.
Yes, what I have read is early in pregnancy the mucus is like ovulation mucus just not the egg white and stretchy or something. Its supposed to form the mucus plug and gets drier as you go on in pregnancy.
That is what I read today any ways. But maybe there is still hope that you are pregnant. Good Luck with your test !!!!

Lynzie~ Dont dis-regard the light bleeding as AF , you never know.....8 days late is a good sign , but there are other reasons AF can be missed so either or is positive.....Have you gone for blood work yet??......How many dpo are you?.....Usually implantation occurs between 7-10 dpo......so I dont know if that could be a cause? or if you are pregnant and just have some light early spottiing.......If you havent gotten a blood test yet , I would do so!! ************************ BABY DUST******************

I dont see how they can get away with that!!....Here in Canada or at least where I live in BC , They cant fire you , its illegal , They can write you up , but it has to be 2 x verbal and 3 x written , and even then it looks SOO bad to write up a pregnant woman , that most of the time it gets thrown out anyways......Thats just insane they can do that to you!!....Try to look at it from a positive point though I guess , you get to spend more time at home relaxing and preparing for your little baby!!

Things here are good.....5 months as of yesterday and feeling great :) I got sick this morning which is a first in a few weeks , but other than that! I could still sleep forever but I guess thats normal LOL.....Im SUPER glad the freakin snow is gone , not really to fond of a spring snow storm when we had summer weather not even 3 weeks ago!....grr! lol......My fiance is gone back to work for the first time since Christmas :( Well hes gone back a few times but only for 2 weeks , this time hes gone for the full 28 days....and pregnancy is making it a MILLION times harder......I feel so bad because he hates it when I cry , especially when he isnt here to fix it, but thats all I can do when I talk to him because im just such a emotional wreck.....going home makes me cry , going to bed LOL....Its just so weird being by myself, and it feels like such a huge part of me is missing when hes gone......But trying to be positive!! 26 more days until he comes home! Im excited for him to come home this time because everything is going to have changed so much , I'll be 6 months , the baby will be moving alot more and he should be able to feel it kick by then , and just all the stuff we have to get done before the baby!.....Its gonna be so much fun!

You cry lots? LOL I remember doing that when I was pregnant with my boys. I confused my husband, one minute I was happy, the next I was balling cause I was bored or just over stupid things and it didn't last long though lol. But now I look back on it, it is kinda funny.
Yes, its great when dad can feel baby kick. I remember the first time my husband felt our twin boys kick, and his head was on my belly and they kicked him in his ear it was kinda funny, he was not expecting that.
But, I know for me I'm 6wk3d's pregnant now and I am excited to show and feel baby move and stuff. But I know with my boys when I was going to bed they were coming a wake and stretching and would kick and move all night long. Plus I had their feet in my ribs the whole time, best thing about twins is you get an ultra sound done every week, but I also had to get those nasty internal ultra sounds too.
But I'm sorry to hear you got sick!! That is always nasty part of being pregnant.

The baby was REALLY active on Tuesday , It was like punching & kicking the entire 4 hour drive to take my fiance down to work....So far thats been the most active day......I havent noticed if I can see any movement , but I dont think its strong enough yet , It feels a little bit harder each day that it begins to move more though......Im still pretty tiny too , I can still wear my normal jeans , I just un-do them and use a belt or my bella band.....the only thing thats getting bigger is my butt LOL.....I find alot of my shirts arent quite long enough anymore though which is odd lol......I bought my 1st maternity pants today , a super cute knee length demin skirt and a pair of denim capri's.....I dont NEED them yet but they are more comfy and figure flattering at this stage I think......The ONLY people who have commented on me being pregnant were 2 ladies in walmart at 2 seperate times and both times I was kind of offended because its not like my tummy sticks out , yes its a little bit rounder now , but still....What if I was just fat?? LOL....then what??......I cant wait until im like bigger & more well just pregnant looking lol......I still feel like a bit in the inbetween stage lol

Do you know how much weight you;ve gained so far??.....I lost a bit in the beginning but I think im up to about 7 or 8 lbs now....my next apt is on the 28th so maybe 10lbs by then or so?.....I dont really know whats normal for how far along I am......I am trying to eat fairly healthy but were always so busy or im the only one ever home that we/I tend to eat out alot , not so much fast food as restraunt food....and my craving for nachos & cheese sauce I think is gonna come back to haunt me LOL.....but I hope my strong fruit cravings will counter-act the bad stuff LOL

jamie-yes, i am having a little girl :-)  my jeans were tight between 8-10 weeks and shortly after that i bought those bands so i can cover up the open fly, but still wear my "skinny clothes" more comfortably.  at that stage, i was just having a tiny little low bump resembling a beer gut.  this is my first baby and i'm very active which could be part of my "late showing."  plus, i am tall so maybe baby has more room to stretch out.  but everyone is different.  my friend was huge by 15 weeks and ended up having an average size little boy...  i am now 21 weeks.  i think my baby is going thru quite a growth spurt, plus she is lifting higher out of my pelvis.  lots of people do show early...so didn't i read your appt isnt' till july 3?  you must be going nuts!!!  are you hoping for another set of twins?

keeks-you will see her punches soon!  my little girl was getting wilder and stronger by the day and i knew it was just a matter of time till i saw her wiggles!  i am using the belly bands too so that i can keep inmy jeans...i hate maternity pants!!  although i did get some cute ones at old navy maternity.  do you have the bella bands with the button or the ones that are just big, elastic bands?  i have both and can't get the ones with the buttons to work right...if you don't have them already, i highly recommend the one without the button.  i only have one and have to wash it every day!  i need to go buy more.  they come in different colors.  i have black.  i was just looking like i had a gut, but as baby is growing and lifting out of my pelvis, i am starting to look pregnant.  i will post pictures soon.  you are around 20 weeks?  i am thinking soon baby will lift and your belly will look more pregnant soon enough!  the beer gut, very early pregnancy stage is a little ackward!  i haven't weighed myself since last week, but i had gained 10.5lbs.  i think at 20 weeks, 10-14lbs is normal...i think that is what i remember reading.  i am pretty sure i gained another pound or two.  i will weigh myself tomorrow for my journal.  yes, her name is skylar paige, we will call her sky.  the only issue is that we googled the name and she shares it with a nasty, older, unknown porn star!  my husband is freaked out!  so we may change the spelling or possibly the middle name.  but i am thinking that she is pushing 50 so by the time my daughter grows up, that lady will be out of the porn business!

Aww a little girl. Isn't that soo exciting? I think every girl wants at least 1 girl. I just want one girl, I don't know if I could handle too many more girls then that when they hit the wonderful years of teenager ages. I just keep remember what my mom and I went through and I'm not sure I want to do that lol.  Oh!!! That makes me so much more comfortable to know that I'm not the only one who is undoing the button just so I can continue to wear my skinny jeans. Yes my appointment is on the July 3, and then my ultra sound follows some where between the 15-30th of July, so I am going a little bit crazy. I kinda want to find out right a way how many babies there are.
Yes I am hoping for another set of twins, but at the same time I'm not sure!!! Its not a matter of if I can handle it, its more of I just never really got to spend quality time with each twin last time, and it was separating my time from one baby to the other, but now that I have had twins before I know things I would do differently for these ones if they were twins too!!!..

Krissy ~ I have the bella band without buttons , I didnt realize there were different types!.....I got mine in white....I *think* I may have gotten mine too big though , Its a size 2 , but it just doesnt seem to hold them up properly at all times , I think a smaller one may do the trick better so I might get a sz 1 in Black and see how that works....Its more my butt these days though that doesnt fit into my jeans haha!.....You undo the button & the zipper?....Hmmmm ive always just undone the button , but maybe i'll try both and see how that fits!......WOW I didnt know Old Navy had maternity..COOL!.....We dont have many stores where I live....but my skirt & capri's are from Tyme Maternity!....They are SUPER cute and comfy! They are really like I dont know stylish I guess....and because they have the belt loops I can wear a belt or a cute belt buckle and they look almost like normal jeans ,......I wonder if you could order them off the Tyme Maternity website! I HIGHLY recommend them for maternity pants , more comfortable than ANY other ive tried.....and I tried on ALOT yesterday LOL.....I went to a consignment store and only paid like 1/2 price for them which is great , I dont really want to spend over $300 on a wardrobe im only gonna wear once or twice ya know?......I LOVE the name you've picked! Its adorable!......My friend named her little girl Skyla and I loved it too!....Meh who cares about the porn star LOL....she wont know who she is.....and even if she does it would make a funny story one day lol.....I was named after Sarah Michelle Gellars Character on All My Children...Kendall.....and everytime someone says how "different" it is or how much they "like" my name I bring up the story of how it became LOL........Even though we havent " officaly confirmed" it yet , I still think its a girl.....Im not carrying very low and the heartbeat has been in " girl" range although im sure thats just an old wives tale.....I have ALOT of the classic girl symptoms too!.....But I suppose we'll see in about 19 weeks what it is lol....WOW 19 weeks , thats insane....I was counting down until I GOT to 20 weeks , now im counting down until the baby arrives! Yes, I don't know why they are making me wait till July, they said they are booking for July, I guess according to some ladies I have talked to that is not too bad of a wait. OB/GYN must be really busy here or something. But my family doctor I am talking to on Monday he is supposed to be the one to get my blood work done and what not.
I know!!! I don't know what is up with all the boys being born, but it would be nice. Well, my first pregnancy with my boys I showed at about 2-3 months, and now but today i am 6wk4d and I can't wear my jeans and my tummy is rounding out a little bit on the bottom and is getting hard like a baby bump. So who knows. I think it just depends on the person. I don't think you'll gain a whole heck of a lot of weight, normal. I only gained 45 pounds lol.

Lyznie~ I am sorry to hear about you getting your AF... That really sucks, but at least you have a positive attitude about it, or as positive as you can get I'm sure.

So AF came today.  :P  I am figuring it was a false positive or chemical pregnancy or something for me to have not skipped AF for the next 9 months.

It just really threw me off this time, since I thought I had a positive at last, and then last night I started sensing my regular pms symptoms...turns out I was right to identify them as such!

jamie-after much debate and disagreements, we are naming out little girl skylar paige and calling her sky.  before i found out the gender, i took a lot of the online "old wive's tale" tests.  they all said that i was having a girl so they were right.  although i was still convinced i was having a boy...  the chinese gender prediction chart was wrong with me.  it said i was to have a boy.  have you used the chart yet?

lynzieloo-i'm sorry to hear about af!  i was wrong about all of you girls!  you were so late i was sure that you were pregnant!  are you using ovulation prediction kits?

keeks-yea, i unbutton and unzip.  at first it felt really weird but the band holds them up and keeps it all together!  all my jeans are very low rise so the button and zipper are tiny and close together.  i will check out tyme maternity.  the old navy in my town doesn't sell maternity clothes so i drive 35 minutes to baltimore cuz that store does!  you can also order online (even though i prefer to try things on myself).  i did order 2 takinis from them because i spend a lot of time at the pool and beach during the summer.  and i am going to florida in about 2 weeks and can't wait!  what has your baby's heartbeat range been?  mine has been 150-155.  i agree, i was just thinking the other day how i was counting up to 20 and now i am counting down!  it's scary and exciting all at once!  wait till we start obsessing about labor!  i refuse to obsess about it for maybe 10 more weeks...

katebud-i must have missed your post about getting a bfp!  i don't know how i would have missed that!  did it happen so quick that you didn't get to post it?  i am so sorry!  how long have you been trying?

Well that is good you are having a girl!! No I haven't done that prediction thing yet. I haven't heard of it.
I know labor is different for everyone, I obsessed about it with my twins from the time I found out I was pregnant and then especially once I found out I was having twins, I was affraid I was going to have to have c section and that worried me, then I also thought I was going to feel a lot of pain if I did it naturally. But luckily I was in labor for 5 hrs and only fle 30 minutes of contractions at the very end, and they gave me some more epidural stuff and then I was frozen, then my doctor came in and checked and I was ready to go, but I guess I was too frozen to push for them so they had to wait an hour for me to unfreeze, then when it came time to push I was till frozen and I just said I could push, and I didn't feel nothing and it was only 10-15 minutes for both the boys, and luckily I didn't break my tailbone which I heard can happen, or rip where I needed stiches which was nice. So I hope you all have a easy time, I don't know if this one will be as easy as last time, so i'm already kinda fretting about it.

Yeah, I'm ok with it I guess.  I may have just tested too early for the pregnancy to be fully established, and that's why I got a light reading or somthing...but it was definitely there.  :P  

I've been TTC since December, so not really that long in the grand scheme of things.

Oh aww i'm sorry to hear that. Did you know that has happened to me too!! Before umm the year of 2006 it was october I was late and I took a home test and it said positive very very faint, and then I went to the doctors and did a pee test and once again it was very faint, so then not too long after I had cramping and bleeding and of course I freaked out and went to the hospital and they did blood work and a pap test kind of thing, and it turned out I wasn't pregnant. So it was confusing and very frustrating because I don't know what happened.

Krissyy- Yeah positive birthing stories are great to hear, I know I watched a baby story lots when I was pregnant and always freaked out by the amount of pain or screaming the women did. Or just being in the baby section of the hospital was scary enough. But I hope when your time does come to give birth that it will be easy for all you ladies!!.. Also, the epidural is a life savor, kinda cool. If you ever thought the dentist was weird when they froze your gums was weird, the epidural is worse because your legs are frozen and your tummy and everything. Its kinda funny.

thanks Jamie. I hope so too. I have had a strange few days, yesterday had crampng only on the left side and had a little bit of brownish discharge. The doctor said I would have a cyst but if so on the right b/c at the time that was where I felt cramping, I even told him it also happened on the left but he was a bit rude.... Today I have had a bit more brownish discharge and I figured after yesterday AF was coming. But nothing and I feel ok, a bit nausea and have a headache. Don't normally get nausea with AF. Something isnt right. The good news is I found a female doctor taking new patients so I get to see her on Wed. I'll be praying I dont have cysts.

What are the different signs on being able to tell if its a cyst?

I don't know sometimes I think female doctors are the nicer ones, but then my family doctor is a male and he is really good. But my family doctor is a male, and my OB/GYN is a female. But, sometimes I have met some males who seem very rude and just don't care. So I'm glad that you are getting in to see a doctor, you don't want to go on having a cyst if that is the problem. Mind you I don't know really what a cyst can do so.
I am glad your feeling a little better. They may send you for an ultra sound or some sort of scan to take a look. Or I though I had a cyst one time, because I was cramping lots and it hurt, so I went to the hospital and the guy did something like a pap test, but grabbed my ovaries and he told me if I had a cyst on one of the ovaries he grabbed I would feel pain, and I don't think that is how they normally do it. So don't be scared lol.

jamie-did the epidural hurt?  i am a little nervous about it, although i am open to it...

OVULEX-i used it and got pregnant within 6 weeks with it!  i'm a big fan!!!

tfernandez-as i mentioned, i used ovulex.  it is true that it's no longer available on selmedica's site.  some recommend fertilaid, but i don't know much about it and haven't heard as many success stories...  i heard that selmedica (the company that developed ovulex) were working on something new...not sure if that is true or not.  i think you can still buy ovulex on ebay and other places if you google it.  if you decide to use it, post me and i will let you know some secrets that i did with it.  when i was trying to concieve (conceive), i drank a glass of red wine before doing the "baby dance" just to relax.  i would drink green tea daily.  something else you may consider is buying some of the main ingredients in ovulex and trying them separately (ovulex is all natural chinese herbs).  i still have a bottle and a half left...hold on...i will give you some of the important ingredients...chaste-tree, raspberry leaf, black cohosh, red clover blossoms, licorice root.  you can research the herbs indiviually for more info,but i think raspberry leaf and primrose (even though primrose is not listed in ovulex) are important ones.  good luck to you girl!

The Epidural.... Hmm well to me I think it all depends on 1) Your pain Tolerance, and 2) how much pain your already in lol.

So if you go in to the hospital with major contractions, then your going to want that epidural and I don't think you'll feel it too much.

But like me I didn't have any contractions at the time of getting my epidural they just broke the water of baby a for me first, and that was supposed to help the dilation process, and they just gave it to me after doing that.
To me it didn't hurt really, they use a needle to freeze your back first, and that like any other needle is like a poke. Then I really don't know too much of what they did afterwards, but I think they put like a long IV cord down your spine and that you don't feel it... Well you do its just not painful, it just feels really weird. My husband watched them do the epidural and he though it looked like the coolest thing, and it also looked like it hurt, but it wasn't too bad at all. I guess when they poke your back in a spot blood kinda squirts out, lol I'm not helping probably, but I just thought that was cool because you don't feel anything, and its just a blur really. Plus the nurses are really nice, they stand infront of you and hold your hand and tell you its okay. So they are supportive lol.

jamie-thanks for the explanation!!  i'm glad to hear that the nurses are so helpful and comforting.  i have a high pain tolerance, but i hate anything that has to do with the spine...it just freaks me out!

tfernandez-my ovulex arrived in less than a week!  but they are made from a different company than fertilaid so who knows...  yea, you need to be careful where you buy them from.  i have heard stories of the discount places selling placebos so it's really best to buy directly from the source so you know what you are getting...  how long have you been ttc?

Tianna- Yes I do know what you mean on being eager, I was very eager with my first pregnancy, unfortunately I spent 8 months waiting and waiting every month to hopefully not get my period lol.
But I was so worried to try and conceive this time around because I didn't want to have to go through the whole months of trying and being disappointed, but luckily as soon as I came off birth control a week or 2 I got pregnant. So I would say that the Ovulex or anything else might help you out. Just watch out, don't be too surprised if you ever get twins, supposedly that can help with twins also. I never got my twin boys by taking fertility aid and everyone thought I did. But Good Luck to you.

Krissyy- I totally understand what you are saying about the spine thing. It really grossed me out too!!! The whole time I was in the hospital I was always dreading when it got closer to the epidural. LOL mind you when I got it, it was like 17 months ago, but I would be more worried on how its going to feel after giving birth, that is definitely interesting. Its really sore, and getting up and walking was harder. So if I think on what hurts the most its probably after giving birth. But they give you tylenol 3 and stuff. But I didn't like my day time nurses my night time nurses were great, they helped me change the babies diapers, plus my husband stayed with me for the 2 nights I had to be in there, and did not leave my side so that was helpful.

Also, I am putting up a picture of my tummy at 7 wks any one tell me if this looks too early to be showing please.

Krissy - Good, i hope mine gets to me soon. Im SO excited to start on them!!! I've been ttc for a little over a year now.  Me and my DH have been having unprotected sex since August 2006 and still nothing. Im not sure i even ovulate, probably not, i have terribly irregular periods. I wonder what it could be? My only guess is maybe my weight? Im very thin, 5'7" and 110. I have an unbelievable metabolism that i HATE. So who knows....

Aww, you know I read being very irregular doesn't help you out very much. I know being irregular makes it very hard to tell when your going to ovulate most months. I know if your regularly on a 28th day cycle you can usually know when to try for each month, or when your about to ovulate. Most signs of ovulation and I know it will sound gross, but I paid attention this time around and did research is your cervical mucus, around the time of ovulation it will be clear/egg white look, stretchy and wet. Doesn't help too much, but your cervical mucus before your ovulation maybe white or something that is tacky like. This is what I read online. I don't know if it helped me out, but in some ways I think it did. Also, some women may feel a bit of cramping on one side during ovulation, or about the time of ovulation is where you get your mood swings is another thing I heard. I really personally don't think your size matters hun.

Yes twins are great!! I love my twin boys they are 17 months almost and have tons of energy and are soo darn cute. I wouldn't mind having twin girls this time around, but hey who knows right lol.

I'm SO SO excited and scraed at the smae time, I dont want to get let down again, and i dont know what my next step will be if this fails. I'm very into staying natural and not using meds, so im crossing my fingers!!!

Your very welcome=)!!! Yes, I don't know too much about what ovulex or anything does for regulating you. I know it helps you ovulate and that is how multiples happen because you can release a lot of eggs. Or helps you ovulate for longer then what you normally would during ovulation.
If that does not work... actually no even if your planning to take natural fertility vitamins or pills or whatever it is, maybe its best if you go and see your doctor. Talk to them about your dilemma, they maybe able to give you tips on how to regulate yourself, I don't know they may even suggest taking birth control for a bit, but I don't think so because that doesn't keep you regulated after you stop. But it may be best to check with your doctor, I think they say if you've been trying for about a yr and still nothing to go see with your doctor.
So that may be an option for you as well. Also it usually takes 5-7 days for the shipment to arrive when you order it online. It all depends on what you select for your delivery. I usually do the cheapest one which comes within a week.
