Could i be pregnant?

Could i be pregnant?

Me and my husband had sex 6 days ago and for the last 2 days i have been having cramping in the middle of my stomach and back pains along with a milky discharge. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative is there any possible way it could be to early to show up? Is these signs of pregnancy? Ive got 2 kids now but with both of them i was surprised and didnt find out till months later. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I couldnt say for sure if you were pregnant or not..... It depends when you ovulated? When was ur last period? how long are ur cycles usually?

im in the same boat, my last period was on the 22nd of dec. and i had sex on the 2nd of jan. i ovulated the 5th. and still havent got my period, expect it  on the 19th, but im going to test on the 20. a week from now. so dont put to much thought into just wait and see if your period comes and if not take a test, no use into worrying yourself cause not much you can do at this point. just see it as another little blessing. hope all goes well and keep your head up.

MOst woman ovulate form days 11-17 after their period comes and they would not know till 7-10 days after O if they are pregnant, well feel symptoms as that is whent he baby attaches and your body produces the lovely HCG hormone that makes us sick and know we are pregnant. You can get pregnant anywhere from 3 days before to the day you Ovulate. Sperm can live that long, some say 5 days but it is less likey. The egg only lives for 12 hours and must be fertilised during that time for conception to occur. Usually they say 14 days after you first start your period is when you got pregnant then add 7-10 days to that and then 2 weeks later is when you should test. Some woman can get a positive test around 10 days after ovulation but since it is hard to know when the  baby implanted unless you are keeping a rocord of your first morning basal body temperature then you really need to wait till the day you are late to test. Some babies do not implant till later then 11 days and it can take then 4-5 days to show up positive.

MOst ALL woman dry up after ovulation. The cervical mucus tha tis. It goes from watery, milky, creamy to looking like snot (sorry ) and strechy is when you are very fertile and about to ovulate then drys up for quit a while afterwards.

I say give it till you are late and test! It would be very hard for you to get pregnant what 6 days after your period though unless you ovulate early.

Actually most women ovulate 14 days BEFORE their period is due. This is a common misconception and one i belived myself until i looked into it.

Ok so if your last period was on 25th Dec and you had sex on 1st January there is a chance that you could be pregnant. You would have been on day 12 of your cycle so u probably hadn't ovulated by then but sperm can live for between 3-5 days and as long as there is sperm in there for the 24-48 hours that you ovulate then you could have conceived. If you tested on 6th December it would DEFINITELY be too early to tell that you were pregnant even if you were.

If you havent got ur AF already and you know when it is due u can take an early test and get a positive result up to 4 days before AF is due, the reliability decreases the earlier you test though. If you test and get a neg and still no AF then test 3 days later. If still no AF then maybe go to doctors.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Ok thank you everyone for the response.  Today is Jan 21st and still no period, im not really having any symptoms anymore except being really tired and my breasts being really sore. I also had a knot come up on my left breast ive had a couple of people tell me that it could be a milk duck i guess thats what its called or even maybe cancer. Im not thinking about that because i surely hope thats not what it is. But anyways im just really hoping to be pregnant but i tested yesterday which is the 20th and it still came out negitive. So you guys just keep your hopes up for me and wish me luck.

Good luck! Hope u get a BFP. How long are ur cycles usually? Because i just checked and if your last period was 25th December then you are only on the 27th day of your cycle so you might have been testing too early anyway. Do you know how long your cycles are usually?

Today im 28 days in my cycle and its jan 22nd and i had my last period dec 25th so i should be starting my period anytime but today the 22nd i have had some brownish discharge only when i wipe could this be implantation bleeding. It is exactly 4 weeks from my last period. Im just so anxious on finding out if im pregnant or am i just fixing to start my period. I have never had this happen before a period. I NEED HELP!!!

Cycles can be anything between 25-40 days really, they say a "normal" cycle is between 28-36 ish days. If it is exactly 4 weeks you could take a test now. i would say that it wasn't implantation bleeding cos that usually happens not long after you ovulate. Take a test and see.
