Do you think that this will work?????

Hi all! My name is nikeya , and i have been ttc for a month . My July period was 2 weeks and i just knew that i as prego!I I was very dissapointed because it usually only takes one try for me....lol! I don't know when i ovulate because i never really had to pay attention to that kind of stuff. So i'm figuring if i have sex with my  hubby every other day until my next period is supossed to that should do it..............What do you guys think????

it worked for me too! I think you only need to know when you ovulate because it clarifies when your pregnancy tests would for sure be acccurate and eliminates the guessing game. And of course also for the women who dont have sex regularly and need to know when to do it. But me and my husband had sex at least every other day always, for the most part since we've been together, so I didnt use Ovulation predictor kits or anything we just had plain old sex like normal and now Im almost 11 weeks!

Thanx guys for your imput! i really appreciate it. AF went away yesterday so i started my babymaking today. i usually have sex often....but not every other day! I don't want it to feel like a part time job u know what i mean????? I have been trying to figure out ways to keep it romantic all the time and not focus on how much it needs to be done. If u ladies have any ideas i am all ears. I just don't want me and the hubby to be stessed out before the month is over

FYI most women ovulate 2 weeks before their period so if you have a 31 day cycle you would ovulate on day 17. if you have a 28 days cycle you would ovulate on day 14.
this works for me and my 2 step sisters.
anyways if you time it so that you have sex 3 days before ovulation for 5 days you should get pregnant!

thx for the input! I'm kind of unsure on what days that i ovulate. My period is kind of iregular. In june i had my period on the 6th, and this month i had it on the 18th( so i am all confused!) so i pretty much plan on getting it on every other day for the whole month so i won't miss the big O!

Hey supermom, well this will be the first time we are actually trying, the first preganacy (pregnancy) we didnt plan but didnt do preventive measures not to get preggo but we was happy when we found out. We had a missed m/c june 12th and d&c june 17th.  Now we are actaully ttc, we dont have sex every other day thats too much for me,(we may do other things to keep one entertained sexually;)  So i will be using opk's after the last day of my cycle, taking bbts and watchn my cm and plan sex around that to try and get preggo. Im currently on CD4:)

Every other day does sound like alot! especially for a family that already has childen. The only reason why i'm using this method is because i dnt know when i O. I'm sorry to hear about your loss and my prayers go out to you and your family.

Hey ladies! Just coming through to give a little update........Well i have been going according to plan and i think that everything os ok. I am on CD 18 and have been feeling alot of cramping in my lower abdomen like AF is about to come...AF isn't due for about another 2 weeks. I am excited, anxious, and nervous! this 2WW is gonna seem like forever.....Wish me luck! and lots of baby dust to all of the ladies who are ttc****************
