Hi everyone I just went to my doctor who referred me to a fertility specialist. I need to get insurance that will help me pay for some of this because it looks like it's going to be very expensive. Can someone please tell me what some good companies are that aren't too expensive. Thank you

I think it also depends on what company you work at and what benefits they choose. I work for a school system and have an HMO through BCBS and all of my procedures are covered 50%. If I move up to PPO, then it will be covered 100%. I think Md has a law though that fertility procedures have to be at least partially covered by insurance.
We have insurance through my husband's work. I was just looking the other day (just so I would know) and we have coverage for infertility and procedures up to $20,000 in a lifetime. We have BCBS PPO. I am not sure how much we pay for it, as it comes out of his paychecks, but I am thinking that will be nice to have someday... just in case.
