TTC at what age?

I know sometimes it is harder to have a baby the older we get...and I was wondering how old are the woman that are TTC for their "FIRST BABY"...I am 25 bout to be 26 and next year I am going to try harder and pray even harder for a baby because I want to at least have one child before I am 30 years old....

I'm 24 and My Hubby & I are TTC baby # 1. Been trying for a couple of months already. We thought it would happen fast since I'm young but no luck!

Girl join the gang...we were trying for a couple of years and no luck but found out (long story short) that I had fibroids, a clogged up tube, and one slightly clogged up tube.  So I only have one tube now and one that God is repairing right now so DH and I can have our baby............so .......... with that being said have you went to the dr yet.....I would say after a year of trying with no luck seek God and see what he wants you to do then see DR!!.... but good luck and lots of Baby Dust 2 U!!

Well DH and I have been trying since March. I haven't seen a DR yet. If it goes to a year I will most definately see a DR. We've been praying and keeping our  faith everyday. I know our time will come &  he will Bless Us with a baby when the time is right.

I'm 35 and trying for #1. I would have been trying a lot sooner except I married an @ss who strung me along waiting for his business to be perfect, once it was he came home and told me he decided he didn't want to have kids and left me for a single mom. It devastated me but also taught me a lot and now I have the best man in the world and pray we will be able to get pregnant. I only wish the ex would have left about 5 years sooner, but then I may not have met my man. As for the ex, karma stepped in and she dumped him a year later, at least he has his perfect business. Sorry if I am venting, the months of BFN's and fear that it may not happen are starting to get to me. :(

Well I pray that it happens for you at the right time since you have the right man!!!  Its amazing how our timing and Gods timing are so different!!  Although 5yrs ago you may have wanted children with that "*******"........God knew that your children's father was ahead and coming to get you..That is how u know God knew what he was doing...Your not old .....so kids can still come...and he knows the desire of you and DH hearts so he will bless you......I love how GODs timing is so so so so perfect...I kinda went through the same thing but I wasnt married at the time to a guy (with 5kids) that I just knew I would have kids with and live happily ever after.......but after 2 years I found out he was cheating on me and was a driver for an escort service........So I THANK GOD for that happening because like yourself I met a wonderful man that I was married to on July 4th and we both dont have any kids yet but have a faith so high that it would make babies just fall into our arms!!!!!!  God has his ways of showing us that we need to wait on him and that is what you need to do is pray on it and ask God for favor and stay positive because you are still young........if GOD blessed sarah as hold as she was with a baby, and if GOD blessed this lady that was about 44 or older with twins then I know he will do the same for u and ur DH..........SOrry I get excited telling others how the Lord will indeed bless you if you keep ur faith........sorry for the long story but God bless you and good luck..........I have one tube left that God is repairing and I have faith that one day DH and I will have a beautiful and healthy baby and will be able to tell the world our story!! I had the same thing happen.  Spent to many years with a big ole frog.  Never even thought of having kids....Now I'm 41 and with  a prince and am desperate for a baby!  IT WILL HAPPEN!  

I'm in the TWW and checking every twinge.,,,,,

oh geese thanks for all this info NOW i don't feel alone, i got preggos once with not even trying and ended up in m/c and again another m/c now i just feel it will never happen but i stay strong and BLEIVE IT WILL my hubby is 32 and i am 26 i am so ready financially and emotionally to have my baby, but my god all these women with out even trying around me is making me loose my faith i am holding on to my savior for his gift but its so HARD ...IT WILL HAPPEN GIRLIES it will ....BUG HUGS TO ALL ..*:O) erika

One of my really good friends is 45 with a 22 yr old,  2 year old and a 4 year old so don't think its not possible. Also one of my good friends shes 24 not sure of her moms age but her mom accidently got pregnant and now has twin 4yr olds and she just became a grandma June 27th lol

ladybug82--I am also 26 and my husband is 30.  I had a miscarriage May 6th of this year and have been trying every since..Well really we are just not preventing and letting it happen when it is meant to be..Hang in there when the time is right it will happen.

Mrs Lopez--Its not a bad idea to get a pre-pregnancy check upat least a PAP.  Also you may want to start taking a prenatal vitamin and folic acid(the folic acid is EXTREAMLY IMPORTANT) before becoming pregnant.  I never knew any of that until after i had my miscarriage.

im 27 will be 28 in November! I been trying the whole 4yrs dh and i been together! i also would LOVE to have a child b4 30 this is not what i planned i just got stuck with it! and the frog b4 prince thing happened to me too! Married a junkie at 19 he said i wasnt good enough to be a mom and he didnt want kids with me so eventually i left cus he stopped coming home and he found him a crack wh$$re with 2 kids!! so here i sit too now with my prince charming a wonderful man and we cant have a child!

Im 20 and my BF is 17 years older then me...we are so much in love and have been TTC  for about 1 year now with no luck..I would love to have our first baby before im 25..I can always hope and keep trying :).
It makes it difficult also because i have pcos and that makes it hard TTC..Good luck to all you girlies : )..

im 20 i got preg. dec. when i was 19 but i got matried at 18 (i know pretty young) but i never planned for a baby to be in my near future but the closer and closer i get to my due date(sept 14 09) the more i get excited. i hope all is well for u.i'll keep u in my prayers

Look at the decline from 30-34! That is funny because at that age, I had no desire to have children and focused on my career as well...ha!

Interesting question, because it can be answered honestly (at what age one ttc for one's first baby) for a long period of time.  I began to try to get pregnant when I was about 26, so could have answered the 25-30 answer on your poll, but didn't actually have my first baby until I was over 41.

Im 29 yrs old. I also can relate to the frog before prince. I got pregnant at 17 and had my daughter when i was 18. Her father cheated on me plenty and i moved on. I met my ex when i was 20 and and we were together for over 6yrs, and i had no children with him. He wanted to wait and even though i wanted another baby. I didn't which was the best thing since he was living a double life and cheating on me. I then met my BF and its as different as day and night. I love him so much and i see myself growing old with him. We got pregnant on our first try but i miscarried. It has been 5 months since and we have been ttc. I really hope we have our little miracle soon. I have faith and i know god does things when the time is right. SSBD to all of you wonderful laties.
