does position of cervix means that you are pregnant

I'm trying to figure it out a problem with a position of the cervix after ovulation.how long does your cervix stays high after ovulation and now that I'm 5 dpo and it's high does it means i could be pregnant or it's still to early and the cervix can drop any time now (always when I'm 12 dpo my period is starting so 7 days to AF). Does any one could explain me  how this is works.If I'm only 7 days before my period when and I don't know is it a good sign?

it varies from woman to woman....some women have thier cervix softening and rising very early in preg...while others dont rise until well into thier pregnancy.  sorry cant help you too much, but if you are 7 days til af....you can either wait it out or in a few days take a hpt.
