Pampers are the best especially when their infants, but if their too expensive, other brands works fine, especially once their a bit older generic diapers are fine,

Pampers and huggies both are good for children.

I think (it's been 5 years) I liked Pampers the best for newborn sizes, and Huggies once they start getting active. I think Huggies has/had the stretchy waist band. If you're on a tight budget, I found Walmart's White Cloud generic brand to be my favorite.

I use the simply right diapers from sams. They're just as good if not better than huggies.
