Fetal Dopplers

Hi, my boyfriend's friend gave us a Fetal Doppler, I think it's a Summer one but I'm not 100% sure. We tried it out tonight but couldn't find our little girls heart beat. I'm 19w 2d, is this normal or should i be worried? Thanks x

I wouldn't be, sometimes the nurses at work have a hard time finding fetal heart tones

Dont worry, store dopplers arent as sensitive as doctor ones, usually the package says they dont read the heart beat until the third trimester.
