I used Dreft for the first 3 months and then switched to detergents that had no fragrances or dyes in them...they're everywhere.

The Target brand of Dreft is also great. We started out using Dreft, but eventually switched to the Target brand for the better price. I keep wanting to try the ALL for babies, but a lot of places don't carry it, and they don't have a large container (with the spout), which is what we like.

Our nurse told us the dye free/fragrance free is perfectly fine to use for baby's clothes.  However, I just love the way Dreft smells, so in the beginning, I'm using that.

I didn't know about Target's brand of Dreft, since I never looked. But, Ill be checking that out!  I like Target's brand for Downey fabric softner.

the Target version was recommended to us and it's what we use - works great.

I am using Dreft.  I have also used Tide with no dyes or perfumes.  Some people recommended Ivory Snow...but I have a hard time finding that one at certain stores.

I really like the Seventh Generation - Baby. Good for the environment and good for baby

I have used the aAll for babies which I was very happy with now I use Purex for babies because it is alot cheaper and does just as good. I would really recommend tha you also get a spray stain remover. Babies rus has their own brand which is good.

How long do you have to wash the babies clothes in special detergent?

They usually recommend using baby detergent for the first year.  Some do it for 6 months.  I've always done it for a year though since all my babies were preemies.

I love Dreft-it is what I've always used.  I love how it smells.  After they turn a year, I use Tide Free and Clear.

All has a Baby ALL at walmart 1/2 the price as drift.

I have used ALL Free and Clear since my oldest was born 4 yrs ago. I started out with Dreft, but his pediatrician said the ALL Free and Clear is just as good and cheaper. I wash everything in it.
