When can I start to buy?

I'm 3 months pregnant and it's KILLING me to buy SOMETHING! When do I start to buy things? Is it to early! I've heard wait until you get out of your 1st trimester but I will be next week but my boyfriend wants to wait until March and I SOOOOOOOOOOOO can't wait that long! Please help me out!!!

Lol I love you question, and I feel the same way. I'm about 10 weeks and we've already bought some stuff mainly gender nuetral clothes, little stuff nothin major.I would say do what you feel but don't go overboard. I stuck with stuff that's on clearance for now, because you're still going to have your baby shower and you don't want to have doubles or stuff you won't use. I would say wait to really start buying till after you find out the sex, but feel free to pick up something here and there. And I bet dad would come around if you showed him a cute little jumper that says I love my daddy. Lol

Girl, I want to buy stuff so bad!!! He won't let me buy ANYTHING!!! It's like so totally killing me. I will see my baby for the first time on the 29th and hopefully I can know the gender in 18 weeks instead of 20!!! February is too far away! But thanks sweety! :-)

I felt the same way & every time Im in any store I always stop in the baby department. Im 23 weeks now & am having a boy. I only buy stuff on sale until after my baby shower & see what I really need then Im gonna shop like crazy. A friend of mine gave me good advice though and told me to buy diapers every time I get the urge to buy anything for the baby. This way you'll buy something you KNOW you'll use. Buy all different sizes. Also this will save you some money down the line when your not always buying them after the baby comes! good Luck!

Him and his mom wants to buy diapers but I've read that my baby could be allergic to certain ones so I said I was going to wait but my theme for the baby is Pooh so I will buy huggies and hopefully the baby won't break out from them! Thanks you all

If you buy the diapers from Walmart then you can return/exchange any unopened packages for a different brand, even without a receipt. I stocked up on diapers and my 8-week-old still has a ton in her closet! I haven't had to buy any diapers for her these past 8 weeks and probably won't for another 4 weeks.

Also, stock up on wipes. Pampers Sensitive is by far the best.

Wait until you know baby's gender. If you buy/register for neutral stuff and find out it is a girl you're going to want everything in pinks and lavendars! Some things you could splurge on for baby are books and nursery decor since you already know your theme!

hubby mad me wait until i was no longer at risk for miscarriage and when the baby could be born and live. so i didnt get to buy things until i was 28 weeks! lol. but im still waiting on my baby shower before i buy anything else. and then we have a whole bunch of things we need to buy before the end of next month. i say start stocking up now on diapers and things u'll need a lot of (onesies).

ohh I know how you feel!! I thought it was a girl and was ready to go crazy gettin all girly stuff, but good thing I waited, because its a BOY.... I would wait until you find out what your having...unless your keeping it a surprise.

Yeah, I totally get what you guys are saying. I probably have a tote full of odds and ends for the baby. I'm going to start buying diapers and wipes now. And before I buy too much or register I'm going to research what is rated the best and what I should stay away from. All I know is that I am sooo excited to start registering!! Lol
