body pillows

Where do I get a good body pillow that is comfy?  I heard of boppy pillows I think is what they are called. What do you recommend? Also is 7 weeks to early to be using a body pillow?

Hello, let me start by saying it is never too early to use a body pillow, comfort is key to a good night sleep!! My youngest is 8 years old and I still use one, although I suffer from chronic back pain. Ok, to start with I am not sure if "Boppy" makes a body pillow or just an infant pillow? The ones I am familar with are C-shaped and are used to assist an infant to sit up? But like I said, it has been awhile since I have looked at baby stuff and things change so much in a short period of time! Recently I purchased a body pillow from Walmart and I love it! I am not sure what it is called, but it is shaped like an L. It is very comfortable and  the shape is useful. It is made so that you can use part of it under your head and the rest down the side. I really like it, and it was reasonable, $14 I think. Give it a try. Best of luck and congratulations!!!

I am not sure if "boppy" makes an actual body pillow, the only one I am familiar with is the "infant pillow" this is C-shaped and assist the baby to a sitting position. Although, like I said, it has been awhile since I have looked at infant supplies, and things change so fast I am not sure?? I recently bought one from Walmart that I love! I am not sure what it is called but it is L-shaped and super comfy. It is made so you can use part of it under your head and the other part down the side of your body. I really like it and it is reasonable. I think I paid $14, give it a try. Best of luck and Congratulations!!

Nippy pillows are still those C shaped pillows bit I use them.to.put between my knees and I use the later.in.my pregnancy to prop up my huge belleh! LOL. I get really big with my pregnancies. Then, because I have.to.have c-sections I take mine to.the hospital with me to.lay in my lap to.make it easier to hold my baby.

I never used a body pillow, but what I DID buy that has been a total lifesaver is one of those pillows with the "wings" on the side. I got it at Walmart for about $20 and if you place a soft pillow at its base, you can easily sleep semi-sitting up if you want to (it's just another nice option--I've never been a very good side sleeper anyway). I'm sure it will come in handy for breastfeeding as well.
