bottle feeding newborn

Hi ladies my newborn daughter is bottle feeding and she's suckn the teat so strong tht the nipple bends in is ths anythn to b concernd about I'm wondering if she's gttn enuf, I chkd the bottles out myslf it wrks fine I'm usin avent bottles no leakin shud I b worried or jus chnge bottles

She probably just still hungry. Those r usually good bottles

My son used to do that all the time. It just means they are hungry :) There is nothing wrong with the bottle.

Thnk u ladies, I'm jus wondering she's drinkn at each feed roughly 100mls every three hrs I'm givin her boild water inbtwn as well idk y she always so hungry as if thers no tomoro

I wouldn't recommend giving water unless Dr says. Maybe feed her a little bit more then the hospital said. My son always ate more then they said he should and was fine. Perfectly healthy and not overweight.

try getting the next flow rating on the teat. that might help.

I don't think you're suppose to give new born water. They get all the water they need from the milk. Plain water just takes up space in their tummy while milk/formula have all the nutrition.
